GTA 5 Source Code And Bully 2 Files Leaked, Claim Reports

According to reports in the last few hours, The entire source code of GTA 5 has been leaked by hackers and is now out in public. Per one report by YouTuber SKizzle, this new leak also contains Bully 2 files, confirming the game’s existence. Furthermore, the YouTuber also tells us that at one point GTA 6 had the codename “Project Americas,” confirming previous rumors.

As you can see in the Tweet above, the screenshot includes a file with the code of GTA 5, meaning this report has some legitimacy to it. In addition, a post by Joe on X states that the source code was actually leaked on a Discord server and it also contains an early variation of the GTA 5 map. This unfinished map of the 2013 game is already up on Imgur and you can see this concept below.

Besides all this, another screenshot from this brand-new leak contains also some Python code from GTA 6, meaning the hack could affect the upcoming Rockstar title. When footage of an early build of the game was leaked last year by the teenage hacker there were rumors that it also included the source code of GTA 5. Now, it seems like all of that was true as the material has finally come to light.

Rockstar hasn’t said anything about the situation yet and there is no telling how this will affect either of the Grand Theft Auto titles. This leak of info also comes a mere week after the Insomniac Ransomware hack, which leaked countless Sony documents, the studio’s roadmap til 2032, footage from the upcoming Wolverine game, and even a playable PC build of the title.

Hopefully, the leak doesn’t change the development and release of GTA 6, which is set to come out in 2025 according to its mega-hit trailer. However, GTA 5 cheats might get even more polished now due to the code being in the open.
