Insomniac Games was hit with one of the biggest ransomware attacks that the gaming industry has ever seen. The attack last week has shaken the studio as many of its in-dev and planned games have spilled out to the public. As a result, the future games timeline of the studio is now available for anyone to see on several forums, giving a detailed look into what to expect from the team behind Marvel’s Spider-Man and Rachet and Clank.

The subreddit r/insomniacleaks was created to bring most of the details together. It is full of confidential details related to upcoming projects. Marvel’s Wolverine has been the most severely affected entry, having its in-dev footage surfacing online. Many videos have come out showing certain animations, traversal, and more. The game’s cast, a list of locations, the plot, a playable PC build, and the sort were also included.

Marvel’s Wolverine is expected to come out in the second quarter of 2026, as per the roadmap. The other notable Insomniac Games title to leak is Marvel’s Venom, which is supposedly releasing in the second quarter of 2024. The other entries include Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 in 2028, a new Ratchet and Clank in 2029, Marvel’s X-Men in 2030, and a whole new IP in 2031/2032.

Another roadmap also showcases multiple X-Men titles and a new IP for 2035. The third slide unveils Insomniac Games’ plans to launch multiplayer games over the years. However, these specific slides appear to be outdated due to contradictions. The X-Men games were also mentioned to arrive on both PlayStation consoles and PC. We can expect the PC launch to come later down the road.
