With Halo Infinite’s release just around the corner, we’ve been receiving many leaks regarding the much-awaited upcoming instalment to the Halo franchise from 343 Industries. In September, a few images regarding the graphics of the in-game characters were leaked, which were surprisingly realistic. Now, a new leak has surfaced and this time, it’s the Season Pass from Halo Infinite.
Earlier today, u/GeauxAndrew posted an image on the r/halo subreddit, which showcases all the free and premium items that players can earn from the Season Pass in Halo Infinite. According to the leaked image, the Season Pass will have 120 tiers with Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary items. As expected, the free items will only be the Common ones and players will have to purchase the Season Pass to earn the complete library of cosmetics in the game.
Unlike the previous instalment to the franchise, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo Infinite will be taking the Halo: The Master Chief Collection route and will feature Seasons, each with their own Season Passes. Season 1 will be called “Noble Sacrifice,” as we reported back in August.
It’s also worth mentioning that, unlike the Battle Passes in other games, such as Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone, players cannot earn the credits they’ve spent on the Season Pass back in Halo Infinite. Season Passes in the game also have no time restriction, so players can continue to earn their rewards even after the Season ends.
Cosmetic items have always been a significant part of all Halo games and the way that players can earn their rewards from the Season Pass has continued to change throughout the lifetime of the franchise. Halo Infinite is rumoured to release this December and we’re anxious to see what 343 Industries has come up with.
