Hogwarts Legacy Gets Discounted By 50% Yet Again On PC

Hogwarts Legacy’s popularity has shot up dramatically over the course of its release, effectively becoming the top-selling new release of 2023 following its launch in February of that year and exceeding the publisher’s expectations by a fair mile. But just in case you, a muggle, still haven’t sat down for the Sorting Hat to assign you your house, Steam’s put a 50% discount on the Harry Potter-inspired title. 

Defined as “an immersive, open-world action RPG” that puts you at the center of the Wizarding World, you can purchase Hogwarts Legacy for $29.99 as opposed to its $59.99 default MSRP. And wait, that’s not quite it yet; the Deluxe Edition of the title, which comprises the following bonus items, has gone on sale as well, making it possible to buy at $34.99.

Now, if you scoot on over to this page on Steam, where some of Warner Bros. High-Selling, Highly Grossing, And All Of The Above

Hogwarts Legacy’s success has exceeded WB’s expectations, even to the point where the publisher says the game sold 256% more than initial estimates. It ended 2023 on a fantastic note as well, rolling over 24 million copies and getting crowned the biggest physical release in the UK last year. Thanks to this sprawling success, it seems the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy has already been green-lit.

Hogwarts Legacy came out on February 10, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with follow-up ports to other platforms arriving later that year. eXputer rated the RPG 4.5/5.0 in its review, with author Asad Ahmed calling it “one of the best Harry Potter games to date, if not the best one ever.”
