Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Is Already 40% Off On Steam

The title came out early in February.

Story Highlights

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the latest project of well-grounded developer Rocksteady Studios.
  • The game was released in early February but has already been discounted by 40% on Valve’s Steam.
  • Initial impressions of Suicide Squad were barely lukewarm, and fan interest has dwindled ever since.

Well, that didn’t take too long. Rocksteady’s latest third-person shooter and a continuation of the iconic Batman: Arkham franchise has been discounted on Steam for PC players. As opposed to its $59.99 default MSRP, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League can be bought for $35.99 right now, which is a cool 40% off its original pricing.

And not just this, those who would like to get off to a solid start in-game should check out the Deluxe Edition too that’s been treated to the same 40% off promotion, reducing its $84.99 price down to $50.99. I’ll remind you that this particular variant of the title comes with the following bonus items, should you choose to check them out in further depth over at the official Suicide Squad website

  • 3 Black Mask Notorious Weapons
  • 4 Squad Golds Weapon Dolls
  • 1 Battle Pass Token
  • Justice League Outfits
  • No Shade Color Swatches

Fan Interest For Suicide Squad Has Dwindled Since Launch

Shortly after its early access release for those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, refund searches for the title spiked by 791%. Suicide Squad did go on to accumulate a “Mostly Positive” review rating on Steam, though, but it still ended up failing to meet expectations for the publisher Warner Bros. Games.

The live service nature of the game hasn’t bode well for its fan base, with many calling to return the Batman: Arkham franchise to its former glory. Unfortunately, though, with how WB is planning to progress in the realm of gaming i.e. converting its biggest franchise into live service titles, I’m not sure if we’re ever going to see the latter realized.
