Insomniac Games’ Creative Director Teases Marvel’s Spider-Man 3

In the recent Friends Per Second podcast episode (timestamp 43:00) Insomniac Games senior creative director Bryan Intihar talked about the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and teased the possible storyline of Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. While discussing where the story would go, Intihar compares the story of the game with Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies and where it will lead to next with the new entry. 

If Spider-Man 1 and Miles Morales were like our Iron Man, and Spider-Man 2 was like a Civil War, where logically do we go from there? I think it would be pretty epic. But, you know, we’ll see.”

The game’s ending already gives a hint on what the fans can expect from the third entry. While we won’t be diving down into spoiler territory, the hints about the game’s story being compared with MCU may lead to an endgame-like story for Spider-Man 3. Of course, this is just speculation, and the only way to confirm these speculations will be through official announcements.
