Story Highlights
- Lies of P is an ambitious Soulslike RPG released last year and developed by Neowiz Games.
- The title is collaborating with another prominent RPG, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty as shown recently.
- More weapons and a new costume set are set to be introduced to the game in the form of a free update.
Although Neowiz already confirmed last year that Lies of P is going to be joining hands with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, it’s only now that we’ve received a new trailer that showcases the DLC’s bonuses at length, which is coming to Lies of P in the form of a free update on February 14, 2024. Talk about a bevy of menacingly fresh weapons and a new costume set for our protagonist Pinnochio.
The weapon that the footage sheds light on (quite literally) is the Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive, borrowed straight from Wo Long’s Guan Yu, the protagonist. However, the costume that you see in the video comprises two different items, namely the Armor of the Honorable and Bandana of the Honorable, both of which serve a cosmetic purpose only, along with the rest of the costumes in Lies of P.
Get a sneak peek at the exclusive Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive weapon and Armor of the Honorable and Bandana of the Honorable costume in the new Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty collaboration DLC, available as a free download for Lies of P on February 14, 2024, on PS4 and PS5,” reads the announcement.
For those not in the know, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is also an action RPG, helmed by the iconic developer of the Nioh and Ninja Gaiden franchises, and the upcoming Rise of the Ronin as well, Team Ninja. The game sports a combat style that’s played from a similar perspective as Lies of P, so a collab between the two IPs looked certainly on the cards here. As for Wo Long itself, the game recently banded with Nioh 2—another one of Team Ninja’s brilliant RPGs.

Lies of P came out on September 19, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A sequel of the game is in the works and is rumored to be employing Unreal Engine 5. eXputer reviewed the title and rated it 3.5/5.0, with reviewer Hanzala Iftikhar remarking, “In a sea of weak non-FromSoftware attempts at the Souls formula, Lies of P lands with a bang and raises the bar for all future entries.”
