During a long Twitter exchange, BioWare project director Michael Gamble confirmed that Mass Effect 5 is in development by veterans of the trilogy. The remark was first raised as speculation by a BioWare fan, which caught the attention of many gamers. However, one user was curious about the source of the rumor, and upon asking, Michael himself decided to step in to clear up the confusion. 

Besides Michael (the executive producer), the art director, the creative director, and the game director are also involved in working on the project. While the reply does not include any specific names, the tidbit has clearly made the fans more excited about the mystery game. The production of the game has been quite slow due to the massive scale of the project. However, things look brighter than ever for the upcoming entry.

Mass Effect 5 Is Still Shrouded In Mystery For The Most Part

While our minds are finally at ease, it does not change the fact that the game is still a huge mystery. Not a lot has been revealed about the game ever since it was announced on November 7, 2020. Near the end of last year, BioWare released a short teaser trailer along with a series of cryptic messages, but that’s all of the info that we have seen over the years.
