A new leak making rounds on Twitter has spilled out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 3’s content for everyone to see. The short trailer shows nearly 1 minute of footage unveiling several expected arrivals for the upcoming season. The trailer has been posted by a well-renowned Call of Duty insider, @TaskForceLimg, using their backup account since that one was struck down by DMCA.

The new short Japanese trailer features multiple operator skins straight out of the campaign, exciting the already amped-up community. Campaign skins for Soap, Ghost, and Gaz will reportedly be a part of Modern Warfare 2 Season 3; it is currently unknown whether they will be a part of the battle pass or bundles.
Moreover, a slew of maps is also shown, including some nostalgic ones, which will be released as a part of the new season. Estate and Afghan are two returning maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 experience, Roha; Rohan also seems to appear in the leaked footage. A total of four maps appear to be shown in the trailer, and a possible fifth one is a direct confirmation that they could arrive in Season 3.
The Intervention weapon is also making a return, rebranded as FJX Imperium sniper. It is a bolt-action sniper rifle and a highly preferred weapon in the Call of Duty games that initially appeared in the original Modern Warfare 2. Some other 2-3 weapons are also noticeable in the footage. Gunfight and Cranked modes have recently been officially confirmed as well.
Alejandro and Valeria are confirmed to be this season’s operators, but Alejandro could be tied to a bundle, as suggested by rumors. The ending of the trailer is rather peculiar, showing a meme edit with a Russian song in the last 5-10 seconds, which is the leaker’s doing. The new Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released next week on April 12. We suggest taking the new leak with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.
