Mortal Kombat 1 has been officially announced only a few days ago by NetherRealm Studios, but fans are already looking forward to an official gameplay reveal. The riveting cinematic trailer disclosed the new direction of the series, which is seemingly a reboot, but the users have also been wondering about the new gameplay changes. A new Tweet by the Summer Game Fest event’s Twitter handle has seemingly confirmed the alluring details.

As revealed by Geoff Keighley, the first look into Mortal Kombat 1’s gameplay will be officially unveiled on June 8. The gameplay will allow newbies and long-time veteran gamers to bask in the grotesque yet gratifying combat. Ed Boon may also reveal some new figures for the roster in the new video, but no other details have been stated. The cinematic trailer has amped the fans to new lengths due to attractive character design changes.

The new changes and the reboot approach have also led many fans to inquire about the potential of Mortal Kombat 1; its release later this year will soothe all anxious hearts. While many gameplay questions remained unanswered, the official website for the entry already lists some of the wistful characters we can expect to see in the bloodied rounds of Mortal Kombat 1, and many others have leaked online.
