One Piece Odyssey is making landfall for consoles and PC soon, and fans just can’t wait to dive right in. It remains one of the most well-anticipated video game adaptations of the One Piece anime, having its launch trailer recently outed while featuring a banger OST just as well.
Being an action RPG, it’s no secret that the title will feature its fair share of a lengthy runtime, but one particular aspect of Odyssey points at the game even more overarching. Its trophy list has recently emerged online, and taking a look at the brief descriptions of each unlockable achievement; it appears we’re all in for some work.
Apart from the basic Bronze-level trophies that simply require you to go through some of the game’s main chapters, the rest of the unlockables are far more demanding. These include the Pit Stop Pro, which warrants the completion of all side quests, and Battle Master which can only be unlocked after winning 300 battles.
- One Piece Odyssey is an action RPG with turn-based combat elements. The title’s visuals look solid and its initial impressions are shaping up to be well-established. The game releases on 13 January.
- In recent times, the game had its trophy list revealed online, specifically on a dedicated website called PSN Profiles. There is a total of 51 unlockable trophies in One Piece Odyssey.
- Two of these trophies are Gold, 9 Silver, and the rest Bronze, with, of course, a singular Platinum-grade trophy, which is automatically unlocked after you 100 percent the game.
- Some of the trophies’ descriptions appear to be demanding quite the work from aspiring players, so it’s no secret that One Piece Odyssey is going to steal a hefty chunk of your time in case you’re out to finish it completely.
One Piece Odyssey’s recently appearing trophy list just goes on to show how big of a game we’re about to dive into, especially considering what some of the trophies are going to have you doing in order to unlock them.
For instance, the vast majority of the Silver trophies in the game pertain to collectible items, and we all know how much of a chore it can be to explore all corners of an in-game world for just that. The Treasure Hunter and the Bounty Hunter trophies are two such scenarios that will put you through your paces.
But that’s not all, other taxing challenges include turning in the various bounties that you’ll be receiving in the bustling world of One Piece Odyssey right alongside the Certified Fray Fixer trophy are more incentives to keep you glued to the title.
From what we can tell after enjoying One Piece Odyssey’s two hours worth of demo, the title will be holding up its ground just as well. It’s one of the finest gaming adaptations of the One Piece anime which even has its full potential yet to be tapped.
Oh, and if you’ve been meaning to purchase the title, but haven’t been able to do so, One Piece Odyssey just went on sale on a UK-based retailer called Fanatical. The prices for the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition of the RPG have been reduced to about $50 and $70 respectively.
