Ubisoft claims that the title enjoyed a strong start since players showered it with love and a positive response from the get-go. As a result, many users have again praised the new release to highlight its significance in the replies. It has been credited to finally quench the thirst for a Prince of Persia title after years of wait. The internal team at the studio, Ubisoft Montpellier, is responsible for brewing the new entry.
For those not in the know, the Prince of Persia series had stayed dormant for a long time before The Lost Crown came out last week. So, expectations of the fans and burdens on the devs’ shoulders were at an all-time high. Nevertheless, despite some issues, the action platformer pulled through smoothly and garnered a fairly positive reception.
But that is not all for the franchise; Ubisoft is also currently working on the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake. Additionally, the team has expressed that it would “love” to develop a Zelda spin-off.
