Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has basked in a lot of success despite receiving mixed to fair reviews from critics. It has been quite popular among gamers for its great visual fidelity and fantasy elements. As a result, the title has been elevated to quite a high status when it comes to user scores on Metacritic, making it stand out amongst all the other Ubisoft releases of the last few years. 

The action RPG currently stands at a remarkable 8.2/10 user score on Metacritic, which is the studio’s highest in the last few years. To put things into perspective, Far Cry 4 and Watch Dogs 2 concurrently sit in second place, with user scores reaching the high of 7.7/10 on the notable review aggregator site. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is in third place with a user score of 7.4/10, with fourth place followed by Assassin’s Creed Origins at 7.3/10.

The first-person entry currently has 334 user ratings, of which 78% are positive, with 261 total satisfied gamers. About 11%, with 36 reviews, have provided a mixed opinion, while the negative reviews stack up at 12% with 39 reviews. Overall, it is quite a favorable user rating for the new IP by Ubisoft.
