Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Devs Announce Custom GPU Giveaway

We're talking about an RX 7900 XTX here.

Story Highlights

  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a new Avatar game coming later this December.
  • The devs have announced a new giveaway for those who have pre-ordered the game.
  • Partnering with AMD, two AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPUs are being given away to 2 people.

Ubisoft is gearing up to launch its brand-new open-world action adventure a few days from now, but in the meantime, you can avail of a chance to win a specialized Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora GPU from the side of AMD. That is to say, the devs announced a giveaway of the graphics card in recent times, and two lucky folks will be bagging the grand prize when the winners are picked by random.

However, unlike most other giveaways these days that publishers and developers announce in an attempt to push the marketing for their respective IPs, like Lords of the Fallen’s latest gaming chair contest, this one is only available for those who pre-order Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. For reference, the base title costs $70 and has a total of three purchasable editions to its name—Standard, Gold, and Ultimate.

Anyhow, after purchasing the game on your end, the next step is to head over to this page on Ubisoft’s domain and register for the contest there using the on-screen instructions. The gist of it is that you have to enter your credentials and log in with your Ubisoft account to mark yourself as a participant, and that should do the trick. Beware, though, you don’t have long until the registration closes.

Partake in the contest by December 6 and you should be fine. The giveaway is eligible for everyone except for residents of Quebec, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Syria, probably due to legal reservations. The winners will be picked within 30 days of the closure of the registration, so stick tight and watch out for that email notification just in case you’re picked as one of the two winners.

A little over three weeks ago, Ubisoft shared the word that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has gone gold, confirming that development for the project has wrapped up and is now good to go. Since then, Ubisoft has also released a small documentary on the making of the project, with the devs offering their insights into the world of Pandora and crafting an authentic Na’vi story.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora comes out on December 7, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A release date for the title was made official during Ubisoft Forward in June 2023, having suffered a delay that pushed it out of its 2022 release window. Frontiers of Pandora is set after the events of the first Avatar movie but before its sequel, Avatar: The Way of the Water. The game is entirely standalone.
