Assassin’s Creed Jade’s Beta Gets Leaked Online

You can play the mobile beta even if you haven't received the official email.

Ubisoft broke the internet a few months back when they announced the first Assassin’s Creed mobile game. As you would expect, fans weren’t so happy with the franchise switching to a platform gamers dislike.

But, leaks following the announcement have shown us that the upcoming mobile game known as Assassin’s Creed Jade, actually looks pretty good.

We saw our first look at the gameplay just a few days ago through a leak on r/GamingLeaksAndRumors. Just recently the locations in the game and a theme song based on Ezio came out through a leak. Now, the Beta for Assassin’s Creed Jade has also leaked and fans can play it.

Major Takeaways

  • Assassin’s Creed Jade’s Beta has leaked online.
  • Players can play it without an official Ubisoft email by following a few steps.
  • It’s available on iPhone 11 or newer devices only and is available for 2.5 months.

In Game Loop first reported this beta leaking outside the official Ubisoft emails. Fans play this Beta through a game called Codename Explore, which is Assassin’s Creed Jade, but with a different name. You only need to follow a few simple steps to play this Beta.

On Codename Explore’s official Facebook page, there is a Google Form link you can use to sign up. Players can use the TestFlight codes we will provide to run the game without any official email from Assasin’s Creed Jade. But first, you need to download an app.

Step 1:

Go to AppStore and download TestFlight on your phones. Keep in mind that you need a newer iPhone, preferably an iPhone 11 or higher to run this game’s Beta. As of now, this only works on iPhone devices and iOS and not on Android.

Step 2:

You can go to the official Alpha Test form (now closed) and register for the beta after downloading TestFlight. In this form, you need to fill in the given fields with your information. You only have to enter your email and Discord to be able to play Assassin’s Creed Jade’s Beta.

A video on The UK14 Gamer also shows the Assassin’s Creed Jade iOS file in the form of Codename Explore. We have no idea why the leaker has named the Beta this. But, the description on the official page and everything else does match the upcoming mobile game.

YouTube video

In the video, you can see the application description mirror exactly what Assassin’s Creed Jade is. The summary goes on to read “Codename Explore is an open-world role-playing game powered by UE4 Engine.” As we know already, Ubisoft is making the upcoming mobile game in Unreal Engine 4, so this test is certainly for the mobile game.

Further on in the video, you see another summary of the Codename Explore game. This also mimics what Assassin’s Creed Jade is from the setting to the genre. It goes on to say,

Step back into the sands of time into the vivid, and perilous world of an ancient Chinese dynasty in crisis.”

We know for sure due to the Ubisoft showcase in September that the game is going to take place in China. Now, another important part of playing this Beta is the TestFlight codes.

Someone in the replies was giving out these codes and they are important for the beta to work.

None of us have actually tried playing this beta yet so there is no guarantee of safety. But hopefully, it will work absolutely fine for anyone who wants to try it out. Assassin’s Creed Jade comes out in 2023.
