  • The rumor has caused a lot of anticipation in the industry, but it also does not match with some of the older ones that have floated around in the gaming sphere.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage release window has apparently surfaced online by a retail worker at GameStop who shared the alluring details on Reddit. The unnamed GameStop retail worker revealed release dates for plenty of entries, and almost all the featured information is currently already known. As per the leaked image, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is slated to arrive on August 2023, but it could also be a placeholder date that is subject to change when an official reveal arrives.

The image showcases a PC that is chock-full of target release dates and marketing info for all of the listed entries. Weirdly enough, Hogwarts Legacy is listed along with other games but with a Nintendo Switch logo. It could possibly suggest a Switch port, but no official details exist for it currently.

Ubisoft has not yet released an official release window for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. It seems to have suffered many internal delays due to the recent dire situation stated by the huge studio, so the game could be in trouble. In an earnings report a few months ago, the company also claimed to have canceled many unannounced internal projects while delaying some in the brewer.

The new Assassin’s Creed title was not on the list of delayed titles, but it is rumored that it has suffered a setback as well. It was thought that the title may have been postponed after all, but the new rumor reportedly matches up with an older one, seemingly serving as glad tidings for the industry. A credible source, Insider Gaming, also mentioned a similar release window a few months ago, increasing the solidity of the speculation in question.

The new rumor has come out of nowhere despite the serious lack of any official news for the awaited entry. However, it has sparked a new flame in the anticipated industry because the rumor has currently not been proven to be false; and many previous rumors have suggested a release window around similar months. Regardless, we still suggest handling the new development with a grain of salt.

In the past, it has been confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will have full Arabic dubbing for all regions, making it a seemingly authentic experience for all gamers around the globe. The enthralling entry also appears to be returning some old weapons, such as throwing knives, but more info has not been officially affirmed so far. Moreover, it was rated for “Adults Only” due to featuring elements such as real-life gambling of some sort.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is in the brewer for a variety of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
