The Steam sale season is ramping up as the game distributor has put up heavy discounts on both Assassins Creed titles and Xbox games ahead of the upcoming showcases. With price cuts of up to 80%, games like Halo: The Master Cheif Collection are available for just under $10 in this sale. However, these offers won’t be up for a long time as the promotions end on June 15. Better get kicking.
First up, the discounts on Xbox games are presented by Xbox Games Studios themselves as a marketing stint for the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. This promotion includes titles from all categories, genres, and studios with a price cut of above 50% on almost all of them. For instance, Gears 5 is available for just $13.99 after a 65% discount in this sale, with Forza Horizon 4 also retailing for just $19.79 after a 67% concession.
In addition, newer games like Halo Infinite and As Dusk Falls also have big discounts on them. The former is available for half of its price on the Steam sale at $29.99, while the latter can be bought for just $9.89 after a 67% markdown. Besides these headlining titles, a lot of other action, strategy, and open-world games are selling for low prices in this promotion.
State of Decay 2 is purchasable for a meager price of $8.49 at 50% off, while Gears Tactics and Age of Mythology are retailing for $4.54 and $7.49 respectively. Other notable games part of this Xbox Games Showcase sale are Sunset Overdrive ($2.70) and Psychonauts 2 ($6.79). Moreover, the promotion also highlights Starfield, which will be the center of attention at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11.
Next up, the Assassin’s Creed franchise sale is also up on and running on Steam right now. Ubisoft’s major games from the RPG series are discounted heavily in this promotion, which is probably for Ubisoft Forward. 2022’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available at the cut price of just $10.99, 75% lower than its original price. In addition. all of its four DLCs are purchasable at a 60% discount for either $11.99 or $7.99.
Valhalla’s predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, is also up for just $8.79 in this promotion. Just like Valhalla, players can buy both the DLCs and the Season Pass of the 2018 game for a heavy discount in this Steam sale. Next up, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Syndicate are retailing for $6.59 and $7.49 with their post-launch content also on sale for heavy discounts.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, one of the best titles in the series, is also available for a 70% discount at just $8.99. Many other games in the series, like Rogue, Unity, and Revelations, are present in this promotion and cost only around $5. In addition, all of the classic games from the franchise like Brotherhood and the earlier titles are purchasable for dirt cheap sums.
Last but not least, if you want to try all of the mainline entries in the franchise, you can just purchase the Assassin’s Creed bundle for 78% off at only $66.60 in this promotion. Both the Xbox and Assassin’s Creed Steam sales end on June 15 so act quickly if you want to play the related titles before the Xbox Games Showcase and Ubisoft Forward premiere.
