Red Dead Redemption 2 Sells Over 61 Million Copies, As Series Climbs 86 Million

Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 has rolled over 61 million copies. The prominent sales milestone was revealed in the Q3 financial earnings report by Take-Two, confirming that it has shown no signs of slowing down. The entry has been selling like hotcakes in recent months. In the previous quarterly report, RDR2 had sold 57 million copies, so there has been a gargantuan increase in the matter of a few months.

The overall franchise is also sitting on a massive podium after securing over 86 million copies worldwide. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a massive contributor, but the first title has also been hailed as one of the most popular Rockstar Games endeavors in the industry. The report mentions that RDR2 has continued to be the second best-selling title in the United States in the past six years, which is based on both unit and dollar sales.
