Remnant 2 Devs Announce The Game’s Third And Final DLC On Its First-Year Anniversary

Remnant 2 has come a long way since its release last year. The studio Gunfire Games recently celebrated the sequel’s first anniversary with the fans and also revealed details for its third and final DLC, dubbed The Dark Horizon. The devs are also working on “a brand-new game mode that will be free for everyone.” It will be revealed soon, along with a “new progression system.” However, the exact details remain unclear.

Our goal is for The Dark Horizon to be the most expansive DLC for Remnant II. Not only have we packed this DLC full of even more of the Remnant greatness you’ve come to expect,” reads the announcement.

The expansion has actually been delayed since it was planned to launch before the anniversary, but the new release window is now set for September 2024. While no exact release date was affirmed, the devs said that more new will come soon.

When we launched Remnant II one year ago, we promised the release of all three DLCs in this first year. We’ve made the difficult decision to move back the release of our third DLC, so that we have more time to deliver you the best possible experience that you deserve.”
