Tales of Arise has rolled over three million units globally, as confirmed by the official handle of Bandai Namco on Twitter. The JRPG has continued to sell like hotcakes ever since its launch. As a result, Bandai Namco has thanked the loyal fans for their strong support over the years as they celebrate the occasion. It had shifted over 2.7 million copies back in November of last year, suggesting a steady stream of sales by the title over the months.

The title may also have become the series’ best-selling title after crossing the huge milestone. However, that remains to be confirmed. It was previously surpassed by Tales of Vesperia with 2.88 million units sold. Tales of Arise has been a massive success, considering the huge number of sales and positive ratings. As a result, Bandai Namco could be brewing a new Tales title behind the curtains.

After breaking through many milestones, the devs earlier secured a trademark dubbed “Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn” in Europe, attracting many fans along the way. It later turned out to be a DLC instead of a new entry, which was well-received in its own right.
