Ubisoft Store’s “Sword Sale” Now Live, Features Up To 80% Off On Select Titles

The time is nigh to grab a handful of fresh Ubisoft games.

Story Highlights

  • The Ubisoft Store is currently holding a discounted promotion called “Sword Sale.” The discounted occasion features up to 80% on a select number of games, including the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, For Honor, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
  • You’ll find most titles within the 50% to 75% off discount range during the sale.
  • The promotion will run until 9 February and is valid until 10 a.m. UTC on that date.
  • Ubisoft has been running multiple promotions on the Ubisoft Store lately. In January, the French publisher introduced the Lunar New Year Sale and even gave away Rayman Raving Rabbids for free for a select period of time.

If you’ve been holding off on purchasing some of the most enticing titles in Ubisoft’s catalog, now might be the perfect time to pitch in. The France-based video game giant has recently introduced the “Sword Sale,” hinting at its hack-and-slash titles involving sword combat and a lot more.

Some of the IPs that have managed to make the cut include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the Complete Edition of which have been discounted to a mere $49 from its $139.99 MSRP. This 65% off deal is certainly the one to grab at the moment, considering how Valhalla is the recent-most entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion pack, however, has been listed separately from the Complete Edition, and it’s currently 50% off. The price cut has now made the DLC available for $19.99 as opposed to its original $39.99 asking price.

Got a spare $4 lying around? You could get Ubisoft’s For Honor with that money at the present, but bear in mind that it’s only the Starter Edition of the third-person action title that has been included as part of the deal.

The game has been discounted 75% thanks to the Sword Sale, thereby getting its price tag reduced to $3.75. The Complete Edition of the title is also on discount right now, coming for $25 in contrast to its original $99 price.

Other games and game bundles such as Assassin’s Creed Mythology Pack, Assassin’s Creed Ezio Auditore, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete Edition, and Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Gold Edition have also gone on sale.

In relatively recent times, the Bargain Bin sale went live on the Ubisoft Store as well, sporting a discount that stretched up to 80% on a number of different games.

In other news, it’s worth noting that multiple Ubisoft+ subscription tiers have been hinted at by a fresh GOG Survey, indicating that it’s likely for the developers to introduce more levels to the video gaming service, similar to Sony’s PlayStation Plus.

However, a survey like that popped up some time ago in the past as well, so it’s not set in stone that Ubisoft is, indeed, working toward something like that. Only time will tell, however, in case such new features arrive for Ubisoft+.

As of yet, the Sword Sale on the Ubisoft Store is undoubtedly equivalent to major savings, as the developers have discounted some of its biggest hits to a respectable extent. Do let us know in the comments below what games did you end up purchasing. eXputer wishes you good luck!
