Sony initially revealed its answer to Microsoft’s Elite controller at Gamescom Opening Night Live, much to everyone’s surprise. It is in the form of a stylish piece called DualSense Edge controller, which is a very modular piece of hardware. Now a lot of questions have been answered about the stylish controller.

Sony has cleared the fog surrounding the high-end controller with a new announcement and a short trailer, answering commonly-asked queries, including its price, release date, a list of modular accessories, and much more. The premium controller is chock-full of exciting features that make it wholly customizable.

In an announcement by PlayStation Blog, Sony has revealed a new trailer that tackles most of the expected features that arrive with the DualSense Edge controller. Alongside the trailer, we get a list of features and the price for the slick piece of hardware.

DualSense Edge amalgamates a “host of hardware and software-based personalization options” to make it match users’ needs. The vast array of personalization options includes “button remapping, the ability to fine-tune stick sensitivity and triggers, options to swap between multiple control profiles, and a unique on-controller user interface.

It would not be a DualSense controller without incorporating “haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.” It can be recharged in the carrying case through a USB connection to make sure it never runs out during game sessions. The list of all the accessories is given below:
