Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Demo File Size Leaked

Square Enix's upcoming action-RPG will come with a massive file size of almost 35 GB for the demo on the PlayStation 5.

The 35th anniversary of Final Fantasy is upon us and the franchise is getting a new game to celebrate it. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is coming out on the first game’s 35th birthday. We first got to know about the game in 2021 and the players are excited about this new entry. Square Enix also talked about releasing another demo version of the game before the launch. And, we now have new info about the demo through an industry insider.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will have a 35 GB demo on the PS5. This demo version will release on the PS4 and the PS5 before the game’s release. The news comes from the popular industry insider PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, who has leaked a lot of correct stuff. So, this source is quite reliable.

The demo will see an official announcement during Sony’s State of Play event on March 9 according to the leaker. We will also see the demo on the PS4 alongside the PS5. the leaker, however, didn’t reveal anything about the demo coming to Xbox consoles. But, the account is PlayStation based so that is probably fair. Hopefully, we do see the game’s demo on Xbox consoles. too.

This is not the first demo for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Other demos got released in May and October last year. These demos let the player try the co-op and single-player story mode of the new game. Critics weren’t very impressed with the first demo due to its technical issues. However, Square Enix patched it after the mixed reception and released a second multiplayer demo in October.

Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a very different take on the original Final Fantasy game. Its premise is fairly simple, with the lead protagonist Jack Garland wanting to destroy Chaos, which is a nod to the original game’s final boss. Jack also has companions in the game in the form of Ash and Jed. The journey will let you fight many monsters from the world of Final Fantasy while being a griping entry in the franchise.

Tetsuya Nomura gave this concept to the studio for Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. He wanted this to be a “brutal” take on the franchise, which was different from the rest. But, Nomura still used the original game as an inspiration for the storyline, preserving the Final Fantasy connection. Fans of the series are excited about the game due to this unique concept.

Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is going to release on March 18th for almost all the platforms (exclusively on Epic Games Store for PC players). However, you can try it out before buying through this very demo. Hopefully, the demo paints a promising picture for the upcoming game.
