Story Highlights Amazon is currently working on a live-action adaption of Bethesda’s Fallout series for their Prime streaming service. Photos from the set of Amazon’s live-action Fallout series have once again leaked. Photos from the set reveal a gas station in the style of the Fallout universe. The photos of the leaked set reveal a look at the fallout series brought to life. These pictures appear to have been taken in Nyack New York, where the series has been filming some scenes. The photos were posted to Reddit and Imgur and reposted on Twitter by Idle Sloth. https://twitter.com/idlesloth84_/status/1617840579936931840?s=46&t=faWhCS3kqAnmpbiufFRpaQ Other photos leaked in the past but have been taken down due to copyright strikes. Amazon’s live-action series set in the Fallout universe is another in the trend of video game adaptations. Streaming services have enabled studios to develop adaptations that could not have been done years ago. The Fallout series began filming in July and is expected to release sometime in 2023 or 2024. Bethesda boss Todd Howard is serving as producer for the series. In December, Todd said the series would tell a new story in the Fallout universe and would not rehash any stories from old games. Since the series has been filmed in New Jersey, Brooklyn, and more locations, it is possible the New York metro area could be the next adapted to the Fallout universe. Previous games included West Virginia, Boston, Washington DC, and Las Vegas. A live-action fallout series will fill the gap between the release of 2018’s Fallout 76 and the upcoming Fallout 5, which we should not expect to release until 2030 at the earliest. With Bethesda’s push into live-action storytelling, I would not be surprised if a live-action Starfield or Elder Scrolls series were in the works. Thanks!
