God Of War Ragnarok To Get A PS Plus Premium Demo For 3 Hours

God of War Ragnarok was released to critical acclaim, and it was among the biggest partakers in the Game of the Year Awards last year. However, despite expectations, a demo for the alluring AAA venture was nowhere to be seen on the PS Plus Premium. Regardless, the new report notes that the popular title will soon receive a demo.

The sequel to 2018’s God of War will reportedly receive a trial version lasting three hours, as reported by the leaker PlayStation Game Size on Twitter. In other words, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will be able to enjoy the game for three whole hours without paying a single dime.

As per the leaker, the users will finally be able to play the game before officially purchasing it to test out the latest AAA experience by Santa Monica Studios for any lingering issues. It is possible that certain subscribers will not find a connection with the game and may back out of buying after playing the trial.

The period for the trial is an impressive three hours, which is higher than some of the other examples we have seen in PlayStation Plus Premium service so far. 

We can experience one of the most eventful parts of the story in the first three hours, which will serve as a giant roadmap for what to expect moving forward. Various lore-affecting sequences, including Kratos’ first boss fight, take place in the early hours of the game, and they set the tone for the rest of the story moving forward.

Most of the games have only offered up to an hour or two on the new demo service, which is not enough for large-sized AAA games these days to find out whether a user clicks. God of War Ragnarok is finally looking to increase the time for the demo.

The period will serve as a great time to test whether the game is worth it for you, and the users will also not have to repeat the progress after playing the trial version. The progress made during the trial in three hours can then be imported to God of War Ragnarok if the game is purchased.

Despite the notable positive reception, many users still have not had a chance to play the lore-filled Nordic venture yet. The reasons vary, one being the new hefty standardized $70 price tag. The players are more cautious before buying recent AAA games, despite the positive reviews, due to potential disappointments.
