Ubisoft’s New Co-Op Sale Takes Up To 70% Off On Select Games

Ubisoft sure knows how to throw a party for PC players, as it frequents back-to-back sales on its official storefront, offering everyone a chance to grab some of its finest games for incredibly low prices. This time around, it’s double, or perhaps, decuple the fun, since the focus is on co-op titles. In other news, though, Ubisoft has just got itself stirred up in a bit of confusion from the fans. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, easily one of the best Assassin’s Creed ever made, recently got delisted from Steam in the midst of a sale event. Although those who already owned it were able to play the game just fine, new potential buyers not being able to find the title jumped to the conclusion that Ubisoft is announcing a remake of the game soon.

In such a case, that would’ve also led the French industry giant to pull the game from Steam, but it turns out, that all of us were living in a fool’s paradise with that type of thinking. Clarifying to PC Gamer, a company representative said the following and dismissed further rumors and speculation from springing up. 

We are aware that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is currently unavailable for purchase on Steam. This is due to a technical issue, and our teams are working on a solution to bring it back as soon as possible.”

Last but not least, a recent report popped up as of late, detailing what Ubisoft’s project Immortals 2 would’ve been like if it wasn’t canceled. A spokesperson for the company spoke out and said that the resources invested into the IP were better off relocated elsewhere, particularly to Assassin’s Creed Red, which is seemingly one of the bigger games that Ubisoft is currently working on.
