Ubisoft’s New Co-Op Sale Takes Up To 70% Off On Select Games

The likes of Far Cry 6, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Rainbow Six Siege are on sale for PC players right now.

Story Highlights

  • Ubisoft is back at it again with its weekly sale opportunity, and this time, the focus is on cooperative games that are either meant to be played in split-screen mode or via online multiplayer. Last time, it was the “Gamescom Sale” that took a decent amount off of renowned PC games.
  • The “Co-Op Sale” encompasses a bundle of first-party Ubisoft titles, including Far Cry 6, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, The Division 2, and even For Honor.
  • The promotional event on the Ubisoft Store runs until 12 September, which gives you plenty of time to dive into some of the best games that Ubisoft has ever pushed out.

Ubisoft sure knows how to throw a party for PC players, as it frequents back-to-back sales on its official storefront, offering everyone a chance to grab some of its finest games for incredibly low prices. This time around, it’s double, or perhaps, decuple the fun, since the focus is on co-op titles. If you love playing online and are a fan of the likes of Rainbow Six Siege, The Division 2, and even Far Cry 6, you’re in for a treat.

The best part is that most of these games have their upgraded editions on sale, so you’re truly getting the best possible value for your buck at the moment. For starters, Far Cry 6 has its Deluxe Edition available for $20 right now, and it not only includes the base game but sports the Ultimate Pack add-on for the first-person shooter as well. In normal scenarios, this would set users back about $80, so the price cut here is certainly appreciable.

Next up, we’ve got one of the best competitive shooters across the board available for less than $10 too—Rainbow Six Siege. And the most fun part? It’s the Deluxe Edition of the first-person closed-quarters shooter that is available on sale, boasting 16 operators from Years 1 and 2, as per the official description. Although Siege has been put to its paces, it’s still supported by Ubisoft after all these years, so you won’t be hassling with any bugs, glitches, or performance pangs.

Moving ahead, you’ve got DLCs for various titles on sale as well, including Trackmania, Rainbow Six Extraction, which is the latest title to grace the Rainbow Six video game series of Ubisoft, and Far Cry 6. The offerings are diverse, and you should really look into the entries on the sale event to catch a full glimpse of all that’s manageable for you.

In other news, though, Ubisoft has just got itself stirred up in a bit of confusion from the fans. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, easily one of the best Assassin’s Creed ever made, recently got delisted from Steam in the midst of a sale event. Although those who already owned it were able to play the game just fine, new potential buyers not being able to find the title jumped to the conclusion that Ubisoft is announcing a remake of the game soon.

In such a case, that would’ve also led the French industry giant to pull the game from Steam, but it turns out, that all of us were living in a fool’s paradise with that type of thinking. Clarifying to PC Gamer, a company representative said the following and dismissed further rumors and speculation from springing up.

We are aware that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is currently unavailable for purchase on Steam. This is due to a technical issue, and our teams are working on a solution to bring it back as soon as possible.”

Last but not least, a recent report popped up as of late, detailing what Ubisoft’s project Immortals 2 would’ve been like if it wasn’t canceled. A spokesperson for the company spoke out and said that the resources invested into the IP were better off relocated elsewhere, particularly to Assassin’s Creed Red, which is seemingly one of the bigger games that Ubisoft is currently working on.
