Initially spotted by the Reddit user u/HumungousDickosaurus, the tidbit sprouts from EA’s lead producer, Jim Vessella, during a heartfelt message addressing the C&C community on Steam. In the long letter, the dev uses the word “first” to address the new remastered collection, sparking hopes for another one among the excited fans.
After the launch of the first C&C Remastered Collection, I told our Community Council I would continue to try and find opportunities to support the C&C community and franchise wherever possible,” reads the announcement on Steam.
Besides, Jim also slipped in an “until next time” remark in the letter, which is another indication of a potential new Command and Conquer Remastered Collection. EA may have planned to see how the fans respond to the new remastered collection before proceeding with potential projects in the future. So, we could see remasters for C&C: Red Alert 2 and Tiberium Next in the future if the newly released collection performs well.
