SQUARE ENIX has conquered the genre of JRPGs and has released highly successful titles over the decennia. Games like FINAL FANTASY XIV alone symbolize the company, but the iceberg goes deep beneath the ocean. SQUARE ENIX could keep releasing titles in its successful franchises to keep flourishing, and players would be satiated with its favorite titles. However, the goliath of RPGs is making way for new and innovative IPs to experiment and extend their roots. This time around, SQUARE ENIX is blending modern, fantasy, and medieval worlds together to craft an alluring contemporary title.
The DioField Chronicle features a modern-styled battle system that involves its twist on the tactical RPG genre. The tactical RPG genre has boosted popularity, with series like Fire Emblem and Triangle Strategy complementing the genre. SQUARE ENIX has decided to meld its allure with the genre to craft The DioField Chronicle, which is shaping up to be a highly anticipated strategy title. The game is rumored to release in the first three quarters of 2022; however, we may now have a better estimate. Recently, the Indicative Classification System (Sistema de Classificação Indicativa), which is a rating system from the Ministry of Justice (Ministério da Justiça) in Brazil, rated The DioField Chronicle.
According to the rating, the game will be arriving on all the previous-generation and current-generation consoles, including the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, alongside PC. The DioField Chronicles was announced at the March 2022 State of Play. Since then, we have not received a lot of info regarding the intriguing title. The game appears to be in the final stages of development if it is starting to be rated. For now, The DioField Chronicles is only rated in Brazil, but other rating boards may also rate the upcoming strategy title. The platforms have been listed in the respective rating.
SQUARE ENIX has still not revealed a particular release date for The DioField Chronicle, but an official announcement may soon follow, as suggested by the recent rating. Right now, the game has seemingly only been rated in Brazil. However, this does suggest that the game is nearing release and players can expect some sort of announcement regarding it very soon.
