Video Games Industry sales report of October 2020 says FIFA 21 was the best selling game last month on both Xbox and PlayStation. The game was then followed by Madden NFL 21, which is also published by EA. Ubisoft‘s new Watch Dogs Legion followed on third, while NHL 21 and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit respectively ranked at the third and fourth position.
NDP Group results also state that consumer spending on video games In October was $3.8 Billion. Likewise, the yearly spending has now reached $37.5 Billion, which is 20% higher than last year. Moreover, in October, nine out of the top 20 games were published by Nintendo.

Despite all the criticism FIFA 21 got, it’s still astonishing how it was the best selling game in October. I think it’s also because PES isn’t doing that great, and when it comes to football, FIFA is the only game.
