Best PlayStation Games To Get On Discounted Prices Right Now

Considering the sheer number of titles that have been discounted in terms of their respective prices at present, the following are recommendations based on my experience playing them and the overall value they bring to the table subsequently. If you have other suggestions to make, feel free to do so in the comments ahead.

1. Hogwarts Legacy Digital Deluxe Edition

Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is 50% Off on the PS Store Right Now

Kicking off the list is the brilliant Hogwarts Legacy by WB Games and Avalanche Software, known for its incredible world design that portrays itself faithfully with regard to the magic drawn up by world-famous author J. K. Rowling. You can get the Deluxe Edition of the fantasy RPG for about $39.99 right now, which is inclusive of the Dark Arts Set, an exclusive quest, and bonus attire for your character.

eXputer rated Hogwarts Legacy 4.5/5.0 in its review, with author Asad Ahmed calling it a “love letter” to fans of the franchise. Expect great combat, terrific characters, and a huge world just waiting to be explored in this one.

2. Lies Of P

Lies of P
Lies of P Is One of the Best Soulslikes in Recent Memory

Rolling over more than 7 million copies over the course of its release, Lies of P gracefully captures the essence of Bloodborne while delivering its own fresh take on its like-minded and gorgeously nightmarish world of Krat. The Deluxe Edition of the game, which also throws in extra wearables for P — the protagonist — is currently down 30% on the PS Store, letting you grab the title for about $49.

eXputer reviewed Lies of P and rated the Round8 Studio and Neowiz Games’ effort 3.5/5.0, highlighting its brilliant environment, solid storyline, and great combat that really uplifts the whole Soulslike setting.

3. Sifu

Sifu
Sifu Will Make Your Blood Rush Faster Than Ever

If you’re into games that display a strong focus on hand-to-hand, martial arts-centric combat, Sifu is your guy. One of the other things that interests me more about the title is how it portrays its story, and the mechanic of the protagonist getting older every time he dies in-game. Thanks to these features and then some, Sifu has turned out incredibly successful for publisher Kepler Interactive.

If you do end up purchasing the title, make sure to lean into this curated best Sifu settings guide on PC and maximize the performance and visuals.

4. Nioh 2

Nioh 2
Nioh 2 Is One of Team Ninja’s Best Works to Date

Team Ninja’s Nioh 2 stands as one of the JRPGs to date, proudly embracing the Soulslike formula and taking the fairly successful Nioh franchise up a significant notch as compared to the first game in the series. Talk about relentless combat, action-packed gameplay, and great level design all packed in one riveting bundle. At $19.99, you really shouldn’t think any further about this one.

Nioh 2’s minor design repetition and dated visuals are fully offset by the meaningful story and the superb combat you can’t get enough of,” says eXputer author Hanzala Iftikhar in his 4/5 review of the game.

5. Batman: Arkham Collection

Batman: Arkham Collection
Batman: Arkham Collection is the Greatest Superhero Game Franchise

I could give you a hundred and one different reasons why the Batman: Arkham franchise, save for the lousy excuse that Suicide Squad is, still holds its ground as the best superhero video game series one can pick up and play. The bundle features the Batman: Arkham trilogy in the name of Asylum, City, and Knight, all three of which are fantastic in their own way in terms of the whole atmosphere, gameplay, visuals, and characters.

6. Dead Cells

Dead Cells
Dead Cells Is Extremely Addictive

I’ll be honest—I didn’t expect much from Dead Cells when I hopped into it, but trust me, I came out more content than what I had hoped for. It’s a 2D platformer and a roguelike Metroidvania where dying means losing all your progression and weaponry, save for a few permanent resources that you can gradually upgrade. The level design is amazing, there’s stellar enemy variety, and the humor is just on point as well so things are kept from becoming boring.

Oh, and the fact that the game is PS5-optimized is just the cherry on top. Have a blast with those adaptive triggers and haptic feedback running across the body of the DualSense magically.
