Similar to obtaining any of the best BG3 amulets, getting the Amulet of Greater Health is challenging as it’s hidden in the House of Hope archives, protected by traps and guards. Neutralizing the Archivist is a common tactic to avoid the guards and claim the amulet due to its significant benefits.

2. Khalid’s Gift

Khalid’s Gift is a rare amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3, specifically valuable for Jaheira’s build. When she wears it, the amulet grants her immunity to curses and boosts her wisdom by one point, up to a maximum of 21.

To obtain Khalid’s Gift, players should visit Jaheira’s Sanctuary in Act 3. There, they’ll discover a desk near the entrance with a Pin Slot puzzle. To solve it, they need the Harp Pin, which can be obtained from one of Jaheira’s children, Tate. With the Harp Pin, they can unlock the hidden area containing Khalid’s Gift.

3. Scarab of Protection

The Scarab of Protection is a legendary amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3, known for its powerful defensive abilities. It is one of the more sought-after amulets due to its ability to protect against both arcane and undead threats.

8. Lofty Sorcerer’s Amulet

The Lofty Sorcerer’s Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a rare accessory that enhances a sorcerer’s magical abilities. Its enchantment, “Lofty Sorcery,” increases the wearer’s Sorcery Points by 1. This may not seem like a huge deal but trust me, If you use a Sorcerer like Balthazar (My Tav), do not skip this amulet.

9. Tressym Collar

The Tressym Collar in Baldur’s Gate 3 is named after the Tressym creatures, known for their magical resistance and playful nature. This collar allows the wearer to cast the Level 5 Transmutation Spell, Telekinesis, which lets them move objects or creatures with their mind, offering versatility in tough situations.

10. Amulet of Windrider

The Amulet of Windrider in Baldur’s Gate 3 grants the wearer two spells. The first, Ride the Winds, is a Level 3 Transmutation spell that allows enhanced mobility or flight using the wind. The second, Gust of Wind, is a Level 2 Evocation spell that summons a forceful gust for various purposes.

To obtain Amulet of Windrider, players must complete the quest “Save Vanra (Help the Hag Survivors)” in the Lower City, which involves dealing with a hag using Hag’s Bane and interacting with Vanra and her mother.

11. Strange Tendril Amulet

The Strange Tendril Amulet is another of the best amulets in BG3 that allows the wearer to cast the Level 4 Conjuration spell, Evard’s Black Tentacles.

In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Necklace of Elemental Augmentation enhances elemental Cantrips for spellcasters. It allows them to add their Spellcasting Modifier to Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder damage Cantrips, making them more powerful.

You can find the Necklace of Elemental Augmentation in Act 2 in the Githyanki Creche’s room with the astral portal and again in Act 3 near the Open Hand Monastery at a shipwreck. Additionally, it amplifies damage from elemental effects in some of the best magical items like the Phalar Aluve.

13. The Amulet of Lost Voices

The Amulet of Lost Voices lets you speak with the dead and is probably the reason why it is easily the best amulet in BG3 for me. The amulet offers a Level 3 Necromancy Spell, even if you’re not a Bard, Cleric, or Wizard.

To get Amulet of Lost Voices, head to the Dank Crypt near the Overgrown Ruins. You can use Thieves’ Tools to unlock a hatch for a shortcut or take a confrontational approach, dealing with bandits and using barrels to your advantage. Inside the crypt, battle Entombed Acolytes and Warriors reach a chest that holds the Amulet of Lost Voices.

14. Sentient Amulet

In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Sentient Amulet lets you cast the Level 2 Evocation Spell, Shatter, once per short rest. It can also restore 2 ki points, useful for Monks. This unique amulet can communicate when you interact with it.

You can find the Sentient Amulet in the Grymforge, specifically in the Adamantine Forge Items area. The amulet is in an Adamantine Chest at coordinates -624, 224, which is a bit challenging to reach. The chest is locked, and you can pick the lock if you have a Rogue with high Dexterity. Alternatively, you can find a key on a nearby skeleton to open it.

15. Amulet of Restoration

In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Amulet of Restoration enhances healing abilities. It lets you cast two spells: Healing Word (Level 1) and Mass Healing Word (Level 3). These spells are crucial for supporting your party in battles.

You can buy the Amulet of Restoration from Derryth Bonecloak, a merchant in the Myconid colony in the Underdark. Due to some unforeseen explosion that may have been caused by a certain wizard tripping on some  mushrooms, Derryth has crossed into the afterlife in my playthrough.

16. Surgeon’s Subjugation Amulet

The Surgeon’s Subjugation Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3 is unique and rare. It has a special ability called “Paralysing Critical.” When you score a critical hit on a humanoid, you can choose to paralyze them for two turns, and there’s no saving throw against it. You can use this ability once per long rest, making it very effective against tough enemies and bosses.

To get the Surgeon’s Subjugation Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3, go to the House of Healing in the second act and defeat Malus Thorm, the surgeon who wears it. You can then loot the Surgeon’s Subjugation Amulet from him

17. Beastmaster’s Chain

The Beastmaster’s Chain Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3 lets you cast Animal Friendship, a Level 1 Enchantment Spell to pacify a beast. To get it, find the Beastmaster’s Chain in the Worg Pens within the Shattered Sanctum. Look in a chest there to find this unique amulet.

I personally haven’t found much use for it because I already have good animal handling on one of my companions.

18. Komira’s Locket

My Personal Favorite In-Game Amulet

In the many moons I’ve spent traveling through the Swords Coast, I have come across many different key amulets that have proved themselves crucial in some of the situations I got myself into later on.

My favorite one has to be the Lofty Sorcerer’s Stone, which adds a bonus spell slot. It helps so much in some areas where you don’t feel like resting after every fight. The amulet guarantees a little bit of safety there.
