How To Get Clay

First of all, when you set out to find Clay, you will have to locate a Clay Deposit nearby. When you load a map in Farthest Frontier, you should start looking for a Clay Deposit immediately. A chunk of brown material will mark the Clay deposits as an icon on your map. The reason why it is so crucial to find Clay is that if you do not manage to get Clay deposits early on in the game, you will have to face the consequences later on. 

Searching The Clay Deposits

In case the players did not manage to get any Clay Deposits at the beginning of Farthest Frontier, we recommend that they start a new game. If you get lucky and manage to locate a Clay deposit, the next step is to place a Clay Pit on it. However, there is another requirement for the Clay Pit to be established. You need to make sure that there is a Wagon Shop set up in your village before you go ahead and make a Clay Pit. 

Placing The Clay Pit 

It is to be noted that in order for you to upgrade a Town Center in your village all the way up to Tier 2, you will need wood, stones, and wood planks. On the other hand, in order to set up a Wagon Shop and Farthest Frontier, you will need some stones and wooden planks.  

Also, these materials are not that difficult to find. However, these are necessary steps if you want to make Clay Pit in your region. 

Clay Pit itself is very simple and easy to make. You will only need some wood planks and wood to construct them. Whenever it is positioned above a Deposit, the grid between it will turn green. However, if you are placing the Clay Pit in a bad and unsuitable spot, the grid beneath it will turn red. Thus, it will act as an indicator of where you should set your Clay Pit.  

Make sure to place it in a spot where you will not place any of the main buildings in Farthest Frontier. You will only need to access the Clay Pit when crafting or making a building.  

A good option is to place it in the corner of the region. Once you have established a Clay Pit successfully, you can then start crafting several items from Clay. 

Uses Of Clay In Farthest Frontier

Using Clay, you will be able to make a lot of important buildings in the Farthest Frontier. These buildings include schools and hospitals. Furthermore, you will also gain the ability to turn the Clay into bricks.  

However, you will have to establish a Brickyard first. In order to establish a Brickyard, you will have to upgrade your Town Center all the way up to Tier Three. It is important to make bricks as well as they can be used to make a Cheese Maker or to set up a Market Square.
