GOW Ragnarok: How To Unlock Ares Armor Set

Wearing the GOW Ragnarok Ares Armor is no longer present on the wishlist of many fans of the game, including me, as Update 4.00 has finally added this set piece. Not only does the armor look amazing in cool red & golden color variations, but it also boasts amazing Strength stats & offers a rapid increase in Rage meter.    

How To Unlock Ares Armor?

Out of all the new armor sets added in the game, the method to unlock Ares Armor is thankfully one of the most straight forwarded and simplest ones. As soon as players have started New Game Plus, they only need to progress through the story until they have gained access to the Huldra brother’s workshop.

From there, just access the shop, and you can very easily spot the Ares Armor set in the crafting section. Here are all the items required to craft this armor set.

• Cuirass Of Ares- 25000 Hacksilver
• Gauntlets Of Ares- 16500 Hacksilver
• War Best Of Ares- 16500 Hacksilver

This armor set belongs in the “Perfect” rarity tier and starts from Level 7; upon equipping the entire set, it offers a cumulative of 100 Strength, 172 Defense, 50 Luck, and 74 Cooldown.

On top of that, Ares Armor Set also offers the “Rage Field” skill, which massively increases the Rage gained. However, it also reduces the size of your Rage Bar, that’s a bit of a downside. The extent of these effects is increased as more pieces from this armor set are worn by Kratos.

Ares Armor Upgrades & Stats

While this armor starts from Level 7, it can be upgraded all the way to Level 9, but since this is a “Perfect” tier set. The price for fully upgrading it does not come cheap, and players need to be ready to spend a ton of Hacksilver and Skap Slags.
