Honkai Star Rail: 3 BEST Stage 1 MoC Teams [Our Picks]

I spent 8+ months playing and below are my recommendations for the best relics and characters to use for Memory of Chaos!

Honkai Star Rail has probably one of the most elaborate end-game content in gacha games, as it grants players the Memory of Chaos where you can try out your strongest characters. Players might want to know the best MoC teams in Honkai Star Rail for patch 1.5, alongside the best relics and best characters to use!

Important: Memory of Chaos is insanely difficult once you cross higher levels; therefore, a perfect team comp is required to clear it.
Key Takeaways
  • The Best MoC Teams feature teams that utilize characters such as Seele, Bronya, Kafka, and Tingyun.
  • The main advantage of using MoC teams is that the perfect team can help clear it and grant you Jades.
  • One disadvantage is that to clear MoC, players need to have the most meta-defining team compositions
  • Players must significantly farm the best relics and build the best Light Cones for their MoC teams.

Honkai Star Rail Best MoC Teams

Below listed is a summarized version of my best MoC teams in Honkai Star Rail:

Rank No. Honkai Star Rail Best MoC TeamsCharacters
1Argenti/HanyaArgenti, Hanya, Tignyun, Luocha
2Clara Physical DestructionClara, March 7th, Tingyun, Lynx
3Mono Quantum CompSeele, Fu Xuan, Bronya, Silverwolf
4General Team Imbibitor Lunae, Blade, Kafka, Jing Yuan

1) Argenti/Hanya

The best Physical damage team.

One of the first MoC Teams in Honkai Star Rail that you can try out features characters such as Argenti, Tingyun, Luocha, and Hanya. This team focuses on synergizing well with Argenti’s physical element and Hanya’s Physical element, and the team is featured in the first half of the stage.

The roles of each character are listed as follows:

  • Argenti: Main DPS
  • Hanya: Support
  • Tingyun: Support + Attack Buffer
  • Luocha: Healer
  • Why I Chose This Team: Argenti and Hanya work together to deliver devastating Physical damage to enemies.

Below listed are the pros and cons for this team:

  • Argenti offers excellent Physical damage.
  • Tingyun can enhance the attack output for Argenti.
  • Argenti is a limited character

Argenti

Firstly, Argenti is a five-star Physical character who belongs to the Erudition path and is known to have one of the strongest Bursts in the game.

In the team, Argenti plays the role of an Ultimate nuke, and with the right support by his side, he can unleash his Ultimate if he has enough energy to recharge it at his correct turn to unleash devastation on enemies.

He uses the Champion of Streetwise Boxing with An Instant Before a Gaze Light Cone as listed below:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: Crit Rate/ Crit Damage
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: Physical Damage
  • Rope: ATK%

Hanya

As far as Hanya is concerned, she is a four-star Physical character that synergizes perfectly with Argenti and belongs to the Harmony Path.

She is an excellent support in the MoC teams in Honkai Star Rail as she can increase a teammate’s speed and attack using her skills.

Her best set is the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace with, But the Battle Isn’t Over Light Cone:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: Crit Rate/ Crit Damage
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: HP%
  • Rope: Energy Regeneration Rate

Tingyun

Tingyun
Tingyun (Image By Me)

For Tingyun, she is yet another four-star Lightning character who belongs to the Harmony path and is an S-tiered support.

While in a Star Rail Best MoC team comp, she excels at being one of the best supports by enhancing the player’s overall attack, making Argenti even deadlier against difficult enemies in the first half.

She uses the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace as her best relic set of choice:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: ATK%
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: ATK%
  • Rope: Energy Regen

Luocha

Last but not least, Luocha is a five-star Imaginary character belonging to the Abundance Path who is rated as one of the best healers in Honkai Star Rail.

While in the team, he excels at healing his teammates and dispelling all debuffs using his skill.

He uses the Passerby of Wandering Cloud as his best in-slot relic set:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: HP%
  • Feet HP%
  • Sphere: HP%
  • Rope: HP%

2) Clara Physical Destruction

The best f2p Physical team.

If you don’t happen to have Argenti, then the Honkai MoC teams can also benefit from using Clara, and her team features characters like March 7th, Tingyun, and Lynx as healers.

The roles of each of the characters are listed below as follows:

  • Clara: Main DPS + Physical damage dealer
  • March 7th: Support + Defense unit
  • Tingyun: Support + Attack enhancer
  • Lynx: Healer

The pros and cons for this team are mentioned below:

  • Clara is a great F2P physical character.
  • Tingyun can enhance the damage output for Clara.
  • Clara can only be achieved through the Standard banner.

Clara

Kicking things off, Clara is a five-star Physical character who belongs to the Destruction path and is an excellent AoE damage dealer.

She can destroy enemies when combined with the best supports and can dish out solid damage.

She uses the Champion of Streetwise Boxing combined with the Something Irreplaceable Light Cone:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: Crit Rate/ Crit Damage
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: Physical Damage
  • Rope: ATK%

March 7th

As far as March 7th is concerned, she is a four-star Ice character who belongs to the Preservation path, meaning she is best at defending allies.

Despite her adorable appearance, if you’re on a f2p team for MoC in Star Rail, she can protect her allies by increasing the Defense for her teammates.

She uses the Knight of Purity Palace with the Moment of Victory Light Cone:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: DEF%
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: DEF%
  • Rope: Energy Regeneration%

Tingyun

For Tingyun, she is a four-star character who is Lightning and belongs to the Harmony path, making her an excellent support.

While in a team with Clara, she can synergize with her by enhancing Clara’s damage output using her Ultimate talent, making Clara all the more viable.

She uses the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace as her best relics, as mentioned below:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: ATK%
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: ATK%
  • Rope: Energy Regen

Lynx

Lynx

Now, a viable f2p option as a healer is Lynx or Natasha, as they are both four-star characters and serve as healers.

The Passerby of Wandering Cloud can be a pretty good relic set, as seen below:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: HP%
  • Feet HP%
  • Sphere: HP%
  • Rope: HP%

3) Mono Quantum Comp

The best Quantum damage team.

Next up, one of my favorite team comps uses features nearly, if not all, Quantum characters such as Seele, Bronya, Fu Xuan, and Silverwolf. This team works well with the second half.

The roles of each of the characters in the Star Rail MoC teams are present as follows:

  • Seele: Main DPS + Quantum main dealer
  • Bronya: Support + Attack buffer
  • Fu Xuan: Defense unit + Support
  • Silverwolf: Support + Weakness Break
  • Why I Chose This Team: Seele’s single-target damage is insanely high, and with Bronya combined, she can easily kill all opponents during combat.

The pros and cons for the team are mentioned below as follows:

  • Seele can dish out great Quantum single-target damage.
  • Bronya can allow Seele’s turns to be Advanced Forwarded.
  • Seele is a limited character.

Seele

Seele
Seele (Image Screenshotted By Me)

One of the first characters is Seele, who happens to be a five-star Quantum character who belongs to the Hunt path.

She can carry out high Quantum single-target damage but lacks in AoE damage and can detonate enemies with her Burst.

She uses the Genius of Brilliant Stars with the In The Night Light Cone:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: Crit Rate/ Crit Damage
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: Quantum Damage
  • Rope: ATK%

Bronya

Bronya
Bronya (Image Taken By Me)

As far as Bronya is concerned, she is a five-star Wind character who is from the Harmony path and is an excellent support.

Bronya can provide some of the best support to Seele as she can enhance her overall attack and also cause Seele to have her turns advanced forward.

She uses the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace with them, But the Battle Isn’t Over:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: Crit Rate/ Crit Damage
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: HP%
  • Rope: Energy Regeneration

Fu Xuan

Moving on, the next character I’ve tried out that works well for MoC is Fu Xuan, a five-star Preservation Path character associated with the Quantum element.

She can decrease the incoming damage from enemies to allies and redirect it to herself so that allies can survive.

She can use 2 Longevous Disciple and 2 Guard of Wuthering Snow as listed below:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: HP%
  • Feet Speed
  • Sphere: HP%
  • Rope: Energy Regeneration

Silverwolf

Last but not least, Silverwolf is a viable contender as she fits right in with the MoC teams in Star Rail and is a five-star Quantum Nihility character.

She uses the Genius of Brilliant Stars set as mentioned below:

  • Headpiece: HP%
  • Hand: ATK
  • Body: Effect Hit Rate
  • Feet SPD
  • Sphere: Quantum Damage
  • Rope: Energy Regeneration

After spending 8+ months playing Honkai Star Rail, in my opinion, the best MoC teams include characters such as Kafka, Seele, Bronya, Tingyun, and Luocha, as Luocha can heal and keep the team alive.
