At the start of battle, characters gain a special Shield that can absorb DMG equal to 10% of their Max HP. Whenever another Shield is gained, this special Shield will also strengthen by 130%. For every 2 turns(s), this will be removed, and then this special Shield can be regained.
Construct: Firmness
Shielded characters take 16% less DMG.
Shielded characters take 24% less DMG.
Construct: Assemble
Characters gain a 6% DEF increase for each Preservation Blessing, stacking up to a max of 6 time(s).

When you’re going with the Destruction path, then the best Resonance Formation is mentioned below, and even users seem to agree with that.
Now the main reason to choose it is because of the Path Resonance that you get with Destruction Path. It will deal damage depending on the HP difference between the current and max HP of your characters.

The Best Follow-Up Attack Resonance.
With the Elation path, the damage for each follow-up attack increases significantly. The Elation Path is more of a Niche path. So unless you want to invest in it in the long run, I don’t recommend focusing on it much.

With the Elation Path, you have to ensure that you have acquired the Blessing ‘Champion’s Diner: Cat’s Cradle.’ Because if you haven’t, then the damage won’t be as good as you’d expect.

After spending 800+ hours grinding Honkai Star Rail, I believe that the Hunt and the Destruction Resonance Formations are some of the most broken ones, since they can offer the most during combat.
