Honkai Star Rail: All Treasure Chest Locations

You will be able to obtain treasure chests in all three major locations in Honkai Star Rail, including Xianzhou Luofu, Herta Space Station, and Jarilo VI. These treasure chests are divided into basic treasure chests, bountiful treasure chests, and precious treasure chests. Each of these major locations is further divided into zones or sub-areas. Fortunately, you will be able to find a lot of treasure chests in each of these sub-areas. 

Herta Space Station Chests 

In Herta Space Station, you will be able to find Honkai Star Rail all chest locations in three sub-areas, namely Supply Zone, Storage Zone, and Base Zone. 

However, before going to the Herta base station, make sure to complete the trailblaze mission first. Keep in mind that all the treasure chests mentioned below are open-world only. 

Supply Zone 

I was able to find a total of 9 treasure chests in the supply zone area of Herta space station.

To get the first treasure chest, you will have to teleport or make your way to the Railway Platform Space Anchor. This chest will be located on the western side of the map in Honkai Star Rail all chest locations.

• The second chest is located nearby behind a counter, and you need to head towards the northern side and make your way into a room to obtain it. 
• Now you have to make your way to the Spare Parts Warehouse Space Anchor. After teleporting there, you need to keep moving forward and go in the southern direction until you reach a corridor. 
• There is another treasure chest in this area that you can obtain by simply turning right from the waypoint. 
• You will have to face and defeat a Warp Trotter for the next treasure chest. From the waypoint, make a right and enter the room to obtain the treasure chest.

  

• Next, you must teleport to the electrical room and keep moving in the southern direction until you spot the treasure chest. 
• After that, you need to go back to the waypoint and walk straight ahead. From here, you need to enter the room and make a right to get the treasure chest. 
• Next, you need to teleport to the Spare Parts Warehouse Waypoint. From here, you need to turn around and go to the western side to get that region chest. 

Lastly, we’ll have to teleport to the Calyx: Bud Of Preservation and turn around again to see a door on your left side. From here, you will be required to cross a bridge to find another precious treasure chest. 

Base Zone 

In the base zone, I was able to find 10 treasure chests.

To get the first one, you will have to teleport yourself into the monitoring room. After that, keep moving forward, and to your left you will be able to spot a basic treasure chest. 

• Now for the second one, you will have to leave this area, go in the southern direction, and look for the nearest door. Here you will be able to get another basic treasure chest. 
• For the third one, enter the area through the door, and you will see a set of stairs ahead. From these stairs, you need to turn left to find another basic chest. 
• Next, you will have to go to the opposite side of the room to get another basic treasure chest. 
• Now you need to go up the stairs and enter the room nearby to locate a treasure chest near some plants.

  

• Find the next treasure chest you need to teleport to the reception center Space Anchor. You can also teleport to the Calyx: Bud Of Destruction. From here, you need to keep walking ahead and look for a door at the end of the corridor to spot a treasure chest. 
• Now from here, you need to enter the door right in the front and defeat the warp Trotter in this location. Doing so will allow you to get the treasure chest. 
• Keep moving forward until you reach the end of the hallway and spot a large monitor screen and control panel. There will be a basic treasure chest right in front of it. 
• Now you need to go to the monitoring room and defeat any enemies in the area to get the precious treasure chest right in front of a huge monitor screen. 
• Next, you need to go out of that area and head towards the southern side of the map. Enter the first door you see on your left and obtain 3 keycards through the exploration to access the area. There will be some enemies in the vicinity that you need to defeat first before getting the lost precious treasure chest. 

Storage Zone 

This sub-area has 16 treasure chests.

For the first treasure chest, you will have to teleport to the first floor and go outside the Control Center. You need to turn all the way around and go towards the northern direction and complete a challenge to get the treasure chest as a reward. 

• From here, you can turn left and enter an area to find another treasure chest that can be obtained after completing a puzzle. 
• Now you need to teleport to the second floor and the Special Purpose Lab Space Anchor Point. After that, you need to make a right and keep moving forward until you reach the end of the hallway to get a treasure chest. But before obtaining it, you will be required to complete an unearthly marvel puzzle. 
• Now go back to the waypoint and complete a Formidable Foe challenge to obtain another treasure chest. 
• Next, you need to turn around from this Space Anchor and complete another puzzle to get the treasure chest. 
• Teleport again to the outside Control Center Space Anchor, and from here, you need to make a sharp right and enter a room. On the western side, you will be able to find a treasure chest by going through a repulsion bridge.

  

• Next, teleport to the Special Purpose Lab and turn around to see a treasure chest ahead. 
• Next, you need to go back to the waypoint and access the door, and make a sharp left to find another treasure chest. 
• For the next treasure chest, you need to go in the northern direction from the same point and reach the end of the corridor. 
• Teleport once again to the special purpose lab and make your way to the central region of the area. You will be able to obtain a basic treasure chest in this location. 
• Next, teleport to the first floor and go outside the Control Center to find a Warp Trotter. After defeating it, you will be able to get the treasure chest as a reward. 
• As soon as you defeat the warp Trotter, you will be able to make your way in the southern direction and find another treasure chest. 
• Next, go out of this area and make a sharp right until you see a set of stairs. There will be a treasure chest near some plants. 
• Teleport to the first floor again and turn around to see a controller in this area. Here you will be able to obtain another basic treasure chest. 
• Now you need to teleport to the courtyard waypoint and keep moving forward until you reach the treasure chest. 
• Go back to the waypoint and head towards the eastern direction to see another basic treasure chest. 

Xianzhou Luofu 

On this planet, you will be able to obtain a lot of Honkai Star Rail in all chest locations in each sub-area. Make sure to complete the Trailblaze Mission first and unlock the exalting sanctum sub-area before hunting for all of these treasure chests. 

Central Starskiff Haven

Next, in Honkai Star Rail, all chest locations guide the first sub-area that I will be exploring is the central star skiff, and it has 11 Honkai Star Rail all chest locations in total.

To get the first one, you will have to teleport yourself into the Starskiff Jetty Space Anchor. After that, you need to head in the western direction before making a sharp right, and you will be able to spot a rusty-colored staircase in that area. There will be a lot of storage boxes around, and you will be able to obtain a basic treasure chest here. 

• For the next one, you will have to go back to the waypoint and go down the stairs ahead. After that, you need to make a sharp right as soon as you pass some red-colored storage boxes. You will be able to interact with Ziqiao, The Heron Express Specialist, and obtain the basic treasure chest nearby. 
• Now go back to the waypoint again and head towards the North and keep moving forward until you reach the treasure chest. 
• Go back to the Star Skiff Jetty Space Anchor and look for a staircase on your left side. After going down from here, you will be able to obtain a treasure chest. 
• Go back to the waypoint again, and this time, you need to walk ahead toward the bridge. You will be able to spot a basic treasure chest easily in this area. 
• Now for the next one, you will be required to go back to the waypoint and head in the southern direction before making a sharp left. After that, you need to locate a red door to get the basic treasure chest. 
• Go back to the waypoint again, and from here, you need to head toward the eastern direction. Look for a garden nearby, and after passing through it, you will be able to enter through a door to obtain the next treasure chest.

  

• I was able to find the next one after going through that gate and turning left. This bare chest will be at the end of the pathway. 
• The next one was located near the start of Archer Ave—space Anchor. I was able to find this treasure chest after going to the western side and looking near the staircase. 
• To get the next treasure chest, you will have to go back to the waypoint and head towards the southern direction, and go all the way to the end of the road. 
• Next, for the last one, you will have to go towards the waypoint again and, this time, head West and look for a staircase to get the treasure chest. 

Cloudford Treasure Chests 

The next sub-area on this planet is Cloudford, and it has 25 Honkai Star Rail all chest locations.

To get the first one, you will have to teleport to the Cloudford Cargo Lane Space Anchor and head in the southwestern direction. Look near a large storage box to get the treasure chest. 

• After that, you need to head back towards the waypoint and go South this time and keep moving downstairs and defeat the warp trotter on the left side to get the treasure chest. 
• Go back to the waypoint again and, this time, head northeast to access a bridge and complete the Formidable Foe challenge to obtain the treasure chest. 
• Teleport to the Trove Of Verdure Space Anchor and go towards the western direction on the map. From here, keep moving forward until you reach the end of the pathway to obtain the treasure chest. 
• Now you need to go back to the waypoint and turn completely around until you see a restaurant. Head towards the roof of the restaurant to obtain the treasure chest. 
• Teleport yourself to the Trove Of Verdure Space Anchor again, and this time head in the southern direction. There will be a lot of boxes in this area, and you will be able to get the treasure chest by turning left. 
• Now you need to teleport to the Cloudford Skiff Boarding Area Space Anchor and head towards the eastern direction to get the basic treasure chest.

  

• Go back to the waypoint, and this time, turn around completely and go to the western part of the map to obtain the basic treasure chest. 
• Now you need to go back to the waypoint again and, this time, head north and keep moving forward until you reach the end of the path to get the treasure chest. It will be located near some plants. 
• Go back to the waypoint once again and look for a staircase on your left side. Go up this staircase until you reach the treasure chest. 
• Now go back down and keep moving towards the northern direction until you reach a large box to obtain the next treasure chest. 
• You need to teleport back to the Trove Of Verdure Space Anchor and go West this time. After solving a puzzle, you will be able to obtain the treasure chest. For the first puzzle, you will have to rotate two times, then switch and turn two times. After that, switch and rotate again to solve the mystery. 
• This is a repeated puzzle, and you will have to complete it a few times to obtain different treasure chests. For the second puzzle, you will have to interact with the timetable again and rotate two times, then switch and then rotate once more. After that, switch and rotate to complete the puzzle. 
• For the third puzzle, you will have to rotate three times, switch, rotate one time, switch, and then turn 2 times to solve the mystery and get the treasure chest. 
• For the 4th puzzle and treasure chest, you will have to rotate, switch, rotate two times, switch two times, switch, and rotate once to solve it and get the treasure chest. 
• After that, you need to teleport to the Cloudford Cargo Lane Space Anchor and go in the southern direction. This will be a different puzzle, and you will have to solve it to obtain the treasure chest. 
• After that, you need to go back to the waypoint location and complete the Formidable Foe challenge to get the treasure chest. 
• Go back to the waypoint again, and this time head towards the southern direction and go towards the mechanical bird. Interact with it and follow it to get a treasure chest. 
• Teleport to the trove of verdure Space Anchor next and head towards the eastern direction. You will have to complete another Hexanexus puzzle to get the treasure chest as a reward. 
• After that, you have to go back to the waypoint and keep moving in a forward direction until you come across another Formidable Foe challenge. 
• Now go back to the previous location again and head towards the southern area. After that, you will have to complete another puzzle to get a treasure chest. 
• Next, go to the waypoint location again and head towards the South to get the next treasure chest by solving a navigation compass puzzle. 
• Teleport to the Cloudford Skiff Boarding Area Space Anchor and head towards the southern direction to complete a puzzle and obtain a treasure chest as a reward. 
• Now you need to teleport to the Cloudford Skiff Boarding Area Space Anchor again and head West to get the treasure chest by following the mechanical bird. 
• For the last treasure chest in this area, you will have to complete yet another Hexanexus puzzle. 

Stargazer Navalia 

The next sub-area on this planet is the Stargazer Navalia, and it has a total of 24 treasure chests.

To get the first treasure chest, you will have to teleport to the Astral Cottage Space Anchor and, from there, head towards the southwestern direction. After that, you need to defeat an enemy before moving ahead and getting the treasure chest. 

• For the next treasure chest, go back to the waypoint, and this time towards the southern direction, and keep moving forward until you reach an elevator. Use it to go to the lower level, and after that, turn right from the first set of stairs and then go left and finally to the right side and get the treasure chest here. 
• After that, you have to go back to the waypoint again and turn around. You will see a set of stairs and then an apart on your left side that will lead you to another chest. 
• Now you have to teleport to The Ship Nursery, The Budding Space Anchor Point, and go towards the West side. The treasure chest will be located near a staircase. 
• From here, you will have to go back to the previous waypoint and use the staircase to find the treasure chest beside a large box.

  

• Teleport to the Ship Nursery The Burgeoning Space Anchor point and turn completely around to see a treasure chest near some red boxes. 
• Now go back to the previous waypoint, and from here, head towards the northeastern direction. There will be a warp Trotter up ahead that you need to defeat to get to the chest. 
• The next one can be found after going back to the waypoint and heading towards the Southern direction. You need to climb the stairs to get to it. 
• Make sure to use your map for the next one and head towards the southwestern direction. Locate a staircase going downwards, and after using it, you will be able to find another chest. 
• Go back to the previous waypoint and head northwestern this time. You will be able to obtain the chest after defeating some enemies. 
• Now go towards the southwestern direction and make your way towards a red box on your right side.  
• For the next one, you will have to teleport to the astral cottage Space Anchor point and use the navigation compass puzzle to get the treasure chest. 
• Now you have to go back to the previous location, and from here, you will have to head towards the southern direction to complete a Formidable Foe challenge.  
• Make your way towards the waypoint again, and this time head towards the northwestern direction to complete a hexanexus puzzle and obtain the next treasure chest.

  

• Now go back, teleport to the ship nursery, the budding Space Anchor point, and head northwest to complete another Formidable Foe challenge and obtain the chest. 
• Go back, and this time head South and look for a mechanical bird. 
• Now you need to teleport to the mooring Space Anchor and head east. You must complete a navigation compass puzzle to get the treasure chest. 
• Next, go back and make your way forward to another navigation compass puzzle. 
• For the next treasure chest, you will have to go back to the previous waypoint and head West. After that, you will be required to complete another mechanical bird puzzle and obtain the treasure chest. 
• From this point, you will have to head east and go so until you reach the Formidable Foe challenge. 
• To get the next treasure chest, head southwest this time and complete the navigation compass puzzle. 
• You will have to complete another hexane xus puzzle to get the treasure chest in the western direction from here. 
• Now you need to teleport to the ship nursery, the birding Space Anchor, and keep moving in the northern direction to complete another hexanexus puzzle. 
• The last treasure chest will be obtained by teleporting to the Ship Nursery, The Burgeoning Space Anchor, and going down the platform. After that, you will be required to interact with some boxes and move them to get to the treasure chest. 

Jarilo VI Treasure Chest 

Before completing and collecting the treasure chests in this area, complete the Trailblaze mission and unlock all the sub-areas. There are six sub-areas here that you will be required to explore to collect all treasure chests. 

Administrative District 

In this district, you will be able to find 10 Honkai Star Rail all chest locations.

To get the first one, you will have to teleport to the Goethe Hotel Space Anchor location. As soon as you transport here, you can spot a basic treasure nearby. 

• From here, you will need to head southwest and make your way to a small restaurant nearby to get the second treasure chest. 
• After that, you have to go back in the Northern direction and look for a staircase nearby. After climbing the staircase, you will be able to spot a treasure chest. 
• Next, you have to go to the Central Plaza Space Anchor location, and from here, you will have to go in the southwestern direction. You will be able to spot a treasure chest near a bench. 
• Now you need to go South from here and look for a small gate. There will be a blue car as well nearby. From here, you just have to move forward a bit until you see a huge garbage can. The treasure chest will be right beside it. 
• Now you have to teleport to the Golden Theatre Space Anchor location. From here, you will have to go east and look for some theatrical posters on the walls nearby. There will be a treasure chest beside these huge posters. 
• For the next treasure chest, you will have to go to the last waypoint and, from there, turn around completely until you spot a phone booth. The treasure chest is right beside it.

  

• Now you need to teleport again to the golden theatre Space Anchor location and keep moving forward until you spot a staircase. You will also see some guards and the treasure chest nearby. 
• Now you need to go back to the same waypoint and keep walking forward until you see a staircase on your right side. 
• For the last treasure chest, you will have to go back to the waypoint again and turn left to obtain the treasure chest near some boxes. 

Outlying Snow Plains 

This sub-area has four Treasure chests only.

For the first one, you will have to teleport to the bud of the hunt and then go in the western direction. Keep moving forward until you see a Warp Trotter on your right side. After defeating him, you will be able to obtain the treasure chest. 

• For the next one, you will have to go back to the waypoint and turn around completely until you see a treasure chest at the end of the path. There will be some dead trees in the southwestern direction, and the chest will be nearby. 
• Now go back, and from here, you will have to turn North and keep moving forward until you see a cottage. There will be a statue as well nearby. Go around the back of the house, and you will be able to spot the treasure chest here. 
• For the last one, you will have to go straight from here and look for a Formidable Foe. After completing the challenge, you will be able to obtain that treasure chest. 

Backwater Pass 

This area has 12 treasure chests for you to obtain.

First, you need to teleport to the Goethe Mansion Space Anchor and make your way toward your right side. Here you will be able to see a staircase that you can climb. Keep moving forward until you see the treasure chest. 

• From here, you will have to go forward and look for a staircase that goes downstairs. There will be a Lamp Post as well nearby. On the left side, you will be able to get the treasure chest. 
• I was also able to find one after teleporting to the Leisure Plaza Space Anchor. From here, I turned left and was able to spot a treasure chest nearby. 
• From here, you will be able to move forward and fight a Warp Trotter to get another treasure chest. 
• After defeating him, you have to keep moving forward to the southern part of the map, and you will find another treasure chest near the end of the path. 
• Now go back and head towards the western direction. Here you will be able to see a large metal gate. The treasure chest will be on your left side. 
• Keep moving forward until you see a trash can. The treasure chest will be behind it. 
• I was also able to obtain one near the transport hub Space Anchor. It can be obtained by traveling in the southeastern direction and fighting a Formidable Foe.

  

• For the next one, you will have to teleport to the Calyx Bud Of Aether and keep moving forward until you come across another Formidable Foe Challenge. 
• Now you need to transport to the Calyx Bud Of Alliance and go towards the southern direction. Here you will be able to complete a puzzle and obtain the treasure chest as a reward. 
• Now teleport to the transport hub Space Anchor and go towards the southeastern direction. There will be a small cafe nearby. After wandering around a bit, you will be able to see a robot. After fixing it, you can obtain a treasure chest from him. 
• Now you need to go back to the same small cafe. There will be a Formidable Foe challenge for you to complete and obtain another treasure chest. 

Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone 

In this sub-area, you will be able to obtain 12 treasure chests.

To get the first one, you will have to teleport to the energy hub Space Anchor location. From here, you will have to keep moving forward until you locate Dunn and his squad. The treasure chest will be behind them. 

• For the second one, you will have to go north from here and keep moving forward until you come across a group of guards. From here, you will have to turn right to obtain another chest. 
• Go back from here and head towards the southwestern direction, and you will be able to obtain another treasure chest near a metal gate. 
• For the next one, you will have to keep moving in the southwestern direction, and you will soon come across a warp trotter. Defeat him to get the treasure chest. 
• After that, you have to go towards your left side, and there will be a treasure chest near the end of the pathway. 
• From here, you will have to transport to the Outpost Space Anchor and keep moving forward until you reach a treasure just near some boxes. 
• From here, you will have to go towards the western side of the map towards the bridge controller. 
• For the next treasure chest, you will have to keep moving forward and cross the bridge to obtain the treasure chest nearby.

  

• Now you need to teleport to the Front Line Space Anchor. After that, you will have to go towards the eastern side of the map to get the treasure chest near a camp. 
• Now go back to this Space Anchor again and go towards the northern side of the map. The treasure chest will be near some boxes. 
• Teleport to the Energy Hub Space Anchor station this time, and you will be able to obtain a treasure chest after completing a puzzle. 
•  Now you need to teleport to the outpost Space Anchor and go towards the western direction. Here you will be able to find another treasure chest after completing a puzzle. 

Corridor Of The Fading Echoes 

This area has 15 treasure chests.

You will be able to find the first one by transporting to that Ancient Battlefield Frontline Space Anchor and going in the southern direction. 

• You can get another by crossing the gate in front of you. 
• After defeating a Warp Trotter in this area, you will have to keep moving forward, and you will be able to see another one near the end of the path. 
• Keep moving forward until you come across a small alleyway and a statue. 
• For the next one, you will have to teleport to the command center Space Anchor. This treasure chest will be located under the camp. 
• Now you have to go back and turn around completely and keep moving forward until you see a chest on your right side. 
• For the next one, you will have to keep moving forward until you reach an energy generator, and the treasure chest will be right beside it.

  

• Down this path, you will also see a treasure chest in front of a gate. 
• Now you need to teleport to the Contaminated Plaza Space Anchor. Here you will be able to see a treasure chest after you turn left and cross a door. 
• Now teleport to the Fortified Zone and go towards the northern side to look for a generator with a treasure chest beside it. 
• Next, teleport to the Ancient Battlefield Frontline Space Anchor and head towards your southwestern side to get another treasure chest. It can be obtained after completing the Formidable Foe challenge. 
• Now you need to go back and head northwest and complete another challenge to obtain a treasure chest. 
• From here, you need to go east and complete a mag flow link puzzle and follow a robot to get the treasure chest. 
• Teleport to the Contaminated Plaza in color again, and you will be able to complete yet another puzzle and find a treasure chest after you progress a bit. 
•  For the last one, you will have to go South from here and complete a Formidable Foe challenge. 

Everwinter Hill 

The last location in Honkai Star Rail all chest locations guide is the ever winter hill, and you will only be able to obtain 5 treasure chests in this area.

• For the first one, you will have to teleport to the Deck Of Creation Space Anchor and keep moving toward the southwestern direction of the map until you come across a staircase. The chest will be right beside it. 
• From here, you will have to go in the southern direction and go to the end of the road to get the treasure chest. 
• You will be able to find one by going to the Space Anchor again and continuing towards the northern side.

  

• Now you will be able to obtain the next one in the western direction after you face a Warp Trotter. 
• For the last one, you will have to teleport to the Deck Of Creation Space Anchor and keep moving toward the northeastern side of the map until you reach a Formidable Foe.
