Lords of The Fallen: 4 BEST DPS Class [75+ Hours Experience]

After spending over 75 hours here is my take on best DPS Class in Lords of the Fallen, along with some tips on how to use them.

Lords of the Fallen has 13 classes, four of which are secret, so most players won’t have them. Among the nine classes, there are four that stand out as the Lords of the Fallen Best DPS Class. Many players would love to choose the best DPS classes as they make the experience better.

Key Takeaways
  • There are a total of 13 classes in Lords of the Fallen, but 4 of them are secret, with 3 unlocks with different endings, and one can be obtained via the Deluxe Version.
  • Among the 9 classes in Lords of the Fallen, four are ranked in accordance to their worth as a DPS.
  • Orian Preacher is the best DPS Class due to its high damage and the fact that it is a Mage class.
  • The disadvantage of Orian Preacher is the lack of Melee Combat and the poor attribute allocation.
  • Udirangr Warwolf, based on Melee combat, is a great DPS class due to more points in Strength.
  • The disadvantage of Udirangr Warwolf is that it is not welcoming to beginners.

1- Orian Preacher

The Best Magic DPS Class In Lords of the Fallen.

I hate Mage Classes, but DPS of Orian Preacher is probably the best. It has the highest Radiance Stat, so I think it is the best Magic DPS Class. Not only do the Radiance spells work as an offense, but they can also work as a defense for you. So you get the highest DPS, along with a pretty solid defense.

However, keep in mind that Orian Preacher is not designed for closed combat as it is a Mage Class. There are some areas where a group of enemies attacks you. So, you might have a little trouble with Orian Preacher in such scenarios.

  • Radiance spells offer offense and defense.
  • The DPS is high from the start.
  • Poor stat allocation.
  • Why I Chose This: Orian Preacher features great damage from the start, and the Radiance spells offer offensive and defensive capabilities.

2- Udirangr Warwolf

The Best Melee DPS Class In Game.

Udirangr Warwolf can be a beast in combat if you know how to use it. I would recommend avid Souls players to try the Udirangr Warwolf class once in Lords of the Fallen. It has great potential for doing great damage in the early game, as the strength attribute has 16 points

If you have never played any Soulsborne or Soulslike game before, then I would not recommend choosing it. As the class has high DPS potential, it is really slow in combat. Your main damage comes from the big swings, which need to be timed with the boss’s attacks. Nonetheless, Udirangr Warwolf is a great class, and I think it is the second-best DPS class in Lords of the Fallen.

  • Allow to deal high damage from the start.
  • Various weapon varieties are available.
  • Not welcoming for beginners.
  • Why I Chose This: I chose Udirangr due to its massive physical damage and ability to break stance from the start.

3- Pyric Cultist

The Best Alternative For Orian Preacher.

Most Magic Classes in such games have a high DPS potential. The Pyric Cultist class is a good-looking one, but I ranked it as the worst class in my Lords of the Fallen Best Class guide. While the class has great DPS potential, it falls behind all the other stats, such as Endurance, Vitality, Strength, and Agility. The main focus of Pyric Cultist is on Inferno, as it has the most points.

Orian Preacher’s Radiance spells can be used as defense as they can heal, so that is why it is ranked higher. Pyric Cultist, on the other hand, can’t do much except for doing great damage with fire-related spells. Some bosses and enemies might have high resistance against them, too.

  • Deals massive magic damage from the start.
  • Extremely poor stat allocation.
  • Why I Chose This: Pyric Cultist offers great damage from the start, making it a good DPS class to select.

4- Hallowed Knight

The Best Alternative For Udirangr Warwolf.

My experience tells me that Hallowed Knight is the best class in-game, but it is not the absolute best DPS class.

While it is in the top 4 list, it is not the best due to the low points in strength. You can, of course, make it a beast later on in Lords of the Fallen, but in the early game, it falls behind the other three aforementioned classes.

While I think Hallowed Knight is the most balanced class in Lords of the Fallen, it lacks some damage. You can surely do some huge hits with charge attacks, and they can be enough for the early game.

  • Deals great damage to early enemies.
  • Various weapon choices.
  • Great stat allocation.
  • There are no cons of the class.
  • Why I Chose This: I chose Hallowed Knight as while it does great damage, it is also extremely balanced.

Which Class Has The Best DPS Potential – My Thoughts

In my opinion, the best class in Lords of the Fallen is arguably Hallowed Knight. However, if we are just looking at the best DPS one, then I would have to go with Orian Preacher.

As said before, I don’t like Mage Classes, but I didn’t get biased about it, as the DPS potential for Mage Classes is arguably high. The Melee Class with the most DPS potential, in my opinion, is Udirangr Warwolf. While the class is difficult to master, it sure hit hard to the enemies, doing great damage.

That is almost everything you would want to know about the Lords of the Fallen Best DPS Class. While there are 9 classes available at the start, among them, four stand out as the best DPS Classes. Orian Preacher and Pyric Cultist are two Mage Classes that are mentioned in the list, and the other two are the Melle ones. All four are great, and you can choose any based on your preference.

While you are at it, you should check out the guide on Skyrest Bridge in Lords of the Fallen for its location and what rewards you can get there. When you are done with that, make sure to read the guide on Best Starting Classes in Lords of the Fallen to have the best experience.
