Best Spider-Verse Deck

The Spider-Verse Deck With The Highest Win-rate In Marvel Snap.

  • Why I Chose This: This Spider-Verse Deck has the best blend between tech, Ongoing, Destroy, and On-Reveal cards, which makes it extremely hard to predict and counter.

The overall cost of the Deck is three, of which four cards cost only two. However, the power breakdown shows an average of 4.2 power. Therefore, you will have a higher power turn at a lower cost. You may use multiple cards in a single turn, adding to the win conditions and, thus, leading to an overall higher win rate across the board.

One card requires a collection level between 1 and 14, and one is of Symbiote Invasion Season. Two cards are from Pool 1, three are from Pool 2, and five are from Pool 3. Since there are five cards from Pool 3, you will have to unlock the cards quickly to play the Spider-Verse deck.

Here’s summarized information on the best Spider-Verse Deck Cards:

Role Of Cards In Deck

Each card in the Spider-Verse deck will provide value to you differently. However, to maximize the value, you will need to understand the role of each card. Doing that will help you perfect the timing. It will build up your intuition regarding which card to play in which round. Therefore, you will have no trouble being victorious.

The Nightcrawler costs one and has a power of two. Since its power is the ability to move once, you can use it in a mighty slot early on, and when you feel like it is getting full, you can switch it.

Trigger

The Spider-Man (Miles Morales) card has a power of five and costs four. Even though it looks useful at such a cost, it can be even more helpful for players who show patience. If you can hold it long enough for your opponent to move their card, then the card will only cost one, so you can take a lot of advantages through it.

The Carnage card comes with a two cost and power of two. It will allow you to destroy your other cards in the slot you place them in upon reveal. Moreover, with each card destroyed, you will get an additional power of two. You can unlock the card between a collection level of 18-24 in Pool 1.

Decrease Power

The Pool 2 character, Scorpion, has a cost and power of two. The card can afflict the card in your opponent’s hand with a -1 Power on reveal. Using it in early rounds will increase the chance of winning a round since players tend to use cards that already have lower power. To unlock the card, you must be between collection levels 222 and 450 since it is a Pool 2 card.

Lizard

Series 1

Ongoing, power decreased by -4 if the opponent has four cards. Ongoing

Decrease Power

One of the most potent and easy-to-get cards is Lizard. It only costs two energy, having a power of five. Moreover, the Lizard card can reduce the opponent’s Power by three if they have four cards in that particular location. Therefore, I prefer you use the Lizard card towards the ending rounds. Since the card is of Pool 1, you can unlock it between levels 18-214 in the Collection level.

Mysterio

Add Card

The Mysterio card costs two energy, having a power of five. Playing the Mysterio card will play illusions to other locations. Moreover, you can disguise it as an illusion till the game ends. Although Mysterio is powerful, it is also a Pool 3 card. Therefore, you will need a collection level above 462 to have a chance at unlocking the Mysterio card.

Green Goblin

Series 3

On Reveal, the opponent can control this. On Reveal

Like the character in Marvel, the Green Goblin card makes one angry when played against them. The card has a cost of three energy and a power of negative three. The negative power is a part of the card’s ability as it will give its control to your opponent on reveal.

Simply put, it will shift from your side to theirs, and their overall power in a location will be reduced by three. Moreover, to unlock the Green Goblin card, you must have a collection level above 462 since it is a Pool 3 card.

Electro

Electro Card with 3 Cost and 2 Power

Series 3

On Reveal, +1 Max Energy. Ongoing, limited to 1 card per turn. On Reveal

Ongoing

Increase Energy

Limit Card Play Count

The Electro card costs three energy and a power of two. Although the card’s power is not that much, it comes with an ongoing and an On Reveal ability. The continued ability will allow you to play only one card in a turn. However, the On Reveal ability will add one max energy. Unlocking the Electro card will be possible once you exceed the 462 collection level.

I recommend using someone like Carnage or Venom to immediately eliminate Electro since you’ll lose his Ongoing ability but keep his On-Reveal ability (i.e., you’ll get +1 Max Energy every round, and you can play multiple cards each turn.)

Rhino

Series 2

On Reveal, destroy this location. On Reveal

Ruin Location

With a cost of three energy, the Rhino card has a power of three. Apart from its power, the Rhino card can ruin a location on reveal. It means that the ability of such a location will be removed once you play it there. I recommend playing him as a tech card on locations like Limbo to catch the opponent off-guard.

Spider-Man

Series 3

On Reveal, move to a different location and take the opponent’s card from this location to there. On Reveal

Move

The Spider-Verse deck in the game cannot be complete without Spider-Man himself in it. The card costs four energy and has a power of three. The ability of Spider-Man’s card is on reveal, and it will prevent your opponent from playing a card in that location on the next turn. Moreover, it would be best if you were above the collection level of 462 to have a chance to unlock it.

Hobgoblin

5 -8 Collection LV. 222 – 486

Series 2

On Reveal, your opponent can control this. On Reveal

The Hobgoblin card will cost you five energy with a power of negative eight. Its ability is exactly like that of the Green Goblin card. It will go into your opponent’s control after the reveal, reducing their power by eight. Since the Hobgoblin card is of Pool 2, you must have a collection level between 222 and 450 to unlock it.

Doctor Octopus

The high-power card costs five energy, having a power of ten. The card can pull four random cards from your opponent’s hand to the side of their location on reveal. Apart from its ability, the card can mainly be used for severe damage alone.

Spider-Woman (Alternate To Doctor Octopus)

The Spider-Woman card costs five energy, but it comes with a total of seven power. Moreover, it has the On Reveal ability to afflict all enemy cards with a -1 Power. To unlock the Spider-Woman card, you must be between collection levels 18 – 214 since the card is of Pool 1.

Venom (Alternate To Carnage)

Series 3

On Reveal, destroy your other cards and stack their power to this card. On Reveal

If you don’t have Carnage on your Deck, then there is always an option to use the Venom card. The card contains a cost of three energy and power of one. The purpose of it is the same as that of Carnage. It will destroy all other cards in the location and add their powers to itself. Since it is a Pool 3 card, you need to be above the collection level 462 to unlock it.

My Thoughts And Tips On The Spider-Verse Deck

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend a purely Spider-Verse deck for competitive and strategic play since most characters’ abilities in this Deck rarely complement each other. However, if you love everything about Spider-Man and want a themed deck specifically around him, this Deck will get you through a few matches. Of course, the play here is to fill the opponent’s location with meaningless cards, like Hobgoblin and Green Goblin, to give you the advantage in that location.

marvel snap hours save slot
My in-game hours on Marvel Snap (Steam ID: WaterJuice)

My first tip would be to wait a few turns and see where the opponent fills their space. In the meantime, use someone like Lizard or Mysterio to gain the upper hand at a location the opponent is ignoring. Then, once your opponent has two low-power cards at a location, immediately fill up their space with Green Goblin to lower their location’s overall Power and chances of recovery. Finally, start filling in your corresponding location with powerful cards like Doctor Octopus or Spider-Women and secure the win in that area.

Final Words

All in all, the BEST Marvel Snap Spider-Verse deck will be fun to play with. Not only that, but the strategy for the Deck is also pretty strong. All you need to have apart from the cards are timing and patience. However, I would not recommend you use it in competitive mode, especially when the stakes are high.
