Al Mazrah City

First up on the list is the main Al Mazrah City itself which is the biggest location on the map. This obviously translates to it being a hot drop area and a place filled with high amounts of quality loot. However, as mentioned just now, it is a hot drop which means that there would be huge amounts of players in the area, and they might also include pro players. So be vary.

Fortunately, there is a special part of Al Mazrah city which is to the north, where very few people drop, and it still has all the loot that you could possibly want. But still, you might encounter some rotating squads that could possibly be moving from the Taraq Village. However, the main goal is to gather loot, so if you are quick enough, then you should have no problem.

Sarrif Bay

Now, Sarrif Bay is an underrated loot location in warzone 2 because players believe that the surrounding places are much better than it. However, one fact that everyone ignores is that the other close locations are AIrport and Fortress, which no doubt have good loot but are way too busy and filled with players to be able to survive.

Also, Sarrif Bay has good loot, which is dived in a vast area, and only very few people know about its secrets, so no more than one or two squads will probably land. It is an overall good location that has a low risk of danger and provides the players with a good enough loadout to survive the battle. And if at any point you feel that you do not have enough lot, then you can proceed towards the Airport or Fortress if you are brave enough.

Taraq Village

If you have landed at the northern part of the map, then you might have noticed that there are not many good spots to loot from. That is why Taraq Village is on the list, as it does not offer the best loot on the map, but it is the best place to loot from if you land in the northern area of the map.

Also, it is a place with various positional advantages, such as you are able to look at Al Mazrah city. This comes in very handy to rack up kills if you have a sniper rifle through which you can pick off stragglers.

Furthermore, it is at an advantageous location from where you can easily transition into hot spots such as Al Mazrah city if you are not able to gather enough loot. So, in summary, Taraq Village is an all-around good spot to loot if you find yourself in that specific northern area of the map.

Sawah Village

Sawah is a looting spot for those who are looking only to survive rather than hunt others down, as it is far away in the corner of the map. Normally a far-off loot point such as Sawah Village have less loot as it is a safe location. However, that is not the case because Sawah Village flourishes with tons of loot and is also near a spawn point of the stronghold, which in turn makes it a great palace to start off at.

Also, it is the best loot spot in the area, and if you want more loot, then you can move down to hot drops after things have died down. Overall the place is the recipe for coming top 10 if you play your cards right.

Zaya Observatory

Now, the observatory might be the best location to start at just because you might be able to win the game by simply keeping it occupied. This is because it has the best high grounds in the game, and this, combined with the central position of the map, can not be overthrown from here, that is if you conquer it in the first place.

Furthermore, it is worth knowing that the observatory is a high-risk high loot spot because of its central position on the map. However, if you are able to conquer the place, no one can budge you easily because of your high-ground advantage. If you are lucky enough and the circle plays in your favor, then it is possible to get a victory by just staying at the observatory.

East Of Al Sahrim Pass

Now, the east area of the map is a place where people do not usually land, and if they do, they do so only to grab the train, which usually starts from that specific area. Other than that, you can pretty much loot it freely, and there is a lot of loot available in this location.

Furthermore, you can also make your way towards Akhdar Village, which is a hot drop for most players and usually is full of death and players. It even features places with a high-ground advantage which is a must in Warzone 2. The only problem is the fact that if the circles break in an unfortunate way, then you will be forced to travel into other hot drops potentially.
