The Best Ending: Ciri Becomes A Witcher 

The best ending in The Witcher 3 would be seeing Ciri alive and become a witcher like her adoptive father, Geralt. It requires Ciri to come through unharmed from the final battle and embark on a path to be an actual witcher with the Witcher.

From Ciri’s point of view, this is the best possible outcome of The Witcher 3 as it makes sense to her character’s wishes and aspirations. However, this conclusion is relatively difficult to achieve, requiring lots of gameplay and difficult decisions.

Why Ciri Becoming A Witcher Is The Best Ending?

Many argue that Ciri becoming an Empress is the best ending as she was destined to be a ruler. By becoming an heir to the throne, she doesn’t have to live a dangerous life, making her safe and sound in the future. 

That said, Ciri never liked to sit on the throne and give orders. She’s a girl who loves challenges and slaying monsters with her hands. The fact is that during The Witcher 3’s expansion, Blood and Wine, Ciri, who was about to become the Empress, met Geralt and told her that she didn’t know whether she was made to rule the people and that she might forfeit that royal position in the future. 

This indicates that even if she becomes an Empress, she might abandon that position, proving that pursuing the life of Witcher is best for her.

How Ciri Can Become a True Witcher

To make Ciri a proper Witcher in the future, Geralt has to demonstrate his trust in her through his actions and words in the coming quests. This, in return, gives Ciri the confidence in her abilities to become what she always loved since she was young.

There is one decision that you need to make to get this result. This decision is to choose not to bring Ciri to the Emperor. You must take this tricky decision during Blood on the Battlefield in Act 2. This situation arrives when Ciri tells the Witcher to go to Velen and face Imlerith.

How Does Ciri Becoming Witcher Ending Affects Geralt?

From Geralt’s point of view, it makes sense that she gets Cirilla for the rest of his life as he always loved her like a father. Moreover, he can train her to control her bodily functions and make her more vital to ensure a better healing process. He can also teach her how to use Elixirs in the coming days.

He can choose to be with Yennefer, who is like a mother to Ciri, or end up with Triss, no matter how the ending goes. He can also choose to live alone if he doesn’t want to win the heart of either of the ladies.

For me the best ending in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, happens when Ciri becomes a Witcher. This ending comes from making the right choices during Witcher 3. Your decisions guide Ciri’s future. You must trust her and choose the right dialogue.
