For those who are unaware, Hans Zimmer is a composer with a large and award-winning portfolio.

The collaboration happened in just a 12-day span when the two happened to be in Antarctica at the same time.

MrBeast had gone to Antarctica for his latest YouTube stunt, and after spending 50 hours in the Union Glacier area, he discovered that Zimmer was also there. According to him, he took advantage of the chance to pitch the composer for a score for the footage of his time in Antarctica, and everything was in place within a few hours.
