Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora To Feature A First-Person Mode, Reveals New Leak

Based on recent leaks, the game may receive official information soon.

Story Highlights

  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s new images have confirmed a first-person mode for the game. Two new images have surfaced online.
  • The notable data miner has also said that the game may only feature the first-person perspective, but it only is a prediction.
  • Based on recent images, fans have compared the entry to the Far Cry Series, noting that it is a Far Cry game with an Avatar reskin.
  • The title is slated to release sometime between April 2023 and March 2024 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Series X, PC, and Amazon Luna.

New images for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have recently leaked online, suggesting that the highly anticipated entry will feature a first-person camera mode for interested players. The prominent Ubisoft dataminer “@ScriptLeaksR6” has seemingly leaked the first two images on his Twitter feed. As per the individual’s track record, the scoop comes from datamining Ubisoft’s servers.

As per the accredited leaker, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora could always only feature the first-person mode. We have not really seen a first-person mode besides the images and a trailer in the past, that showed the camera perspective during arrow and bow sequences. Regardless, nothing regarding that has yet been confirmed and seems to be purely a prediction at the time of the image leak.

The insider also shared another picture, showcasing a Na’vi riding a mystical beast to trek through the wooded landscape. The following image appears to be an official artwork, and not straight out of gameplay.

Although the images are not detailed, they give us the first look into the entry after the reveal trailer. However, fans have already started comparing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with the Far Cry franchise, saying that it looks similar but with an Avatar reskin. All in all, it is only good news for players who enjoyed the Far Cry series, as the first-person perspective may appeal to a lot of players.

The snapshots have been revealed by a trusted leaker in the Ubisoft community. Recently, Script affirmed that pre-orders for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora are imminent soon. Moreover, the renowned Rainbow Six Siege dataminer is also responsible for surfacing Assassin’s Creed Mirage artworks and pre-order bonuses in the past.

Despite spending over six years in the brewer, we have not heard a lot of specifics for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The stellar entry is a first-person action-adventure game fueled entirely by the latest rendition of the Snowdrop engine, which looks enchanting, to put it mildly. The new Avatar game is overflowing with wildlife, featuring many mystical beasts, some of which have never been seen in any of the movies in the past.

The little official info and trailers showcased by Massive Entertainment so far have been like an attractive sugar confection, to say the least. It has been confirmed that the game will feature a never-seen-before region, as per the official description.

In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it,” reads the description.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set for a release period of sometime between April 2023 and March 2024 for a slew of platforms, as revealed in a recent quarterly earnings report. The fans will be able to soon venture along the voyage of a curious Na’vi on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Series X, PC, and Amazon Luna. Unfortunately, no last-gen support appears to have been completely skipped to only take advantage of the latest hardware.
