The Military Tech Location guide will help you get all the Airdrops for the Military Tech in Dying Light 2. But before that, let’s consider why you need to collect the Military Tech from the Airdrops. The Military Tech helps you upgrade your Nightrunner abilities/equipment, such as the paraglider.
- Dying Light 2 has a system of airdrops on different parts of the map, which helps upgrade your Nightrunner abilities.
- You can get some airdrops in the early game, but you need more parkour exp and skills to get higher-level rewards.
- The airdrops can be found on land and underwater, and there are 12 of them.

Dying Light 2 Airdrops Locations
The Military Tech and the Airdrops are accessible from the beginning of the game but with a few exceptions. You can easily get to most of the locations of the Military Airdrops, but some will not be possible to reach until you reach the later part of the game and get paraglider. You will still need to rely on your parkour skills to reach these hard-to-reach locations we mentioned below. That is why it’d be a brilliant idea to farm XP in Dying Light 2 if you have just the basic combat and parkour skills.

Below, we have listed all the Military Airdrop and Tech locations in Dying Light 2, and you can choose the one where you want to go. The Military Tech is found in two types of Military Airdrops, and they are:
- Normal Military Tech / Airdrops: Most Military Airdrops with Military Tech are found on high Skyscrapers.
- Underwater Military Tech / Airdrops: There are 12 Underwater Sunken Airdrops with Military Tech.

Airdrop THB-04B
The location for the Military Tech in the Airdrop THB-04B in Dying Light 2 is on the northeast side of the Houndfield.
The best way to reach there is by climbing to the building on the right side. To climb that building, use the ladders provided at the backside of that building. Once you climbed the ladders from inside the building. Find your way to the top of the other building. Climbing there is easy and can be done without difficulty, so you will easily get the Military Tech from Airdrop THB-04B.

Airdrop THB-17U
Airdrop THB-17U is on the top of a building on the far north side of Horseshoe, and you will find the Military Tech inside that Airdrop.
After reaching the location, if you look at the building from below, you will see a lot of red ledges leading all the way to the top. We are going to use those ledges to get on the top. To climb these ledges get inside the building on the right side and from there climb up. Once you are at one of the top floors of that building, find a way out to the red ledges. Now from there, climb to the top and get the Military Tech from the Airdrop THB-17U.
Airdrop THB-22B
The location of the Military Tech inside the Airdrop THB-22B in Dying Light 2 is on a broken bridge in the east of Horseshoe, not completely east, just a little from the center.

To reach the broken bridge in order to get to the Military Tech, you will first need to find a way to climb up to the nearby houses. You will see some green lamplight in a straight metal structure at the location. You will easily be able to climb there, and from there, get to the balcony of one of the houses there. From those houses, get to the areas underneath the bridge by walking on the small wooden bridges and using the ropes. From there, the rest of the climbing is straightforward. When you reach there, get the Military Tech from the Airdrop THB22B.
Airdrop THB-M30
The location of the Airdrop THB-M30 with the Military Tech is on a building very northwest of Downtown.
There are multiple ways you can go to the top of the building to get the Military Tech, but the best is through another building. First, go to the backside of the building that is southeast of the Airdrop THB-M30. Here, you will see a rope lift. Use it to get to the top. Now go to the other side of that building, and there you will see the air coming up that helps you fly with the paraglider. Now jump and paraglide straight to the Military Airdrop with the Military Tech.
Airdrop THB-R31
The location of the Military Tech with the Airdrop THB-R31 in Dying Light 2 is direct to the northwest from the middle of Downtown.
The best way to reach the location for the Airdrop is from the same building as Airdrop THB-M30. Just on the backside of the Airdrop THB-M30, you will see a small heightened structure. Climb there, and here you will see another wind pressure that helps you fly with the glider. Now glide straight to the building that is in front of you, and from there again, glide straight to the building containing the Airdrop THB-R31 with the Military Tech.
Airdrop THB-1L0
The Airdrop THB-1L0 with the Military Tech’s location is all the way east of Downtown.
To reach the location of the Airdrop, you will need to start from the third building on the south of the Airdrop. Once you are there, go through the safe zone, and reach the military tech’s building. When you are here, you will be able to see a lot of platforms to climb to the top, but there will be a lot of mist. Climbing is easy, but it’s lengthy since there will be a lot of mist, and you won’t be able to see properly. That’s why you will need to be patient and keep climbing till you reach the Military Tech in Airdrop THB-1L0.
Airdrop THB-NW4
The location of the Military Tech in the Airdrop THB-NW4 in Dying Light 2 is on the very north of Garrison.
To get to the Airdrop, you will first need to climb up to the VNC Tower. You can get to the top of VNC Tower only after completing the Story Quest “Broadcast.” After that, you will have access to the elevator of the VNC Tower. Use it to get to the top of VNC Tower, and then go to the backside of the roof of VNC Tower. Now walk the ledge on the left to get to the ladders leading to the top. Now from there, jump straight to the Military Tech in Airdrop THB-NW4. Gliding there will not be easy, so you will need to handle it carefully to land there.
Airdrop THB-G3T
The location of the Airdrop THB-G3T with its Military Tech is all the way on the western side of Garrison.
You will again need to climb up the VNC Tower with the elevator to get to the Military Tech in the Airdrop THB-G3T. After climbing the VNC Tower, you will need to jump towards the north side to glide this time. After gliding, you can stop on the building near the Airdrop and then glide again. Or you can keep gliding all the way to the Airdrop; if you can do it, that is. Either way, once you are there, get the Military Tech from the Airdrop THB-G3T.
Airdrop THB-UT0
The location of the Airdrop THB-UT0 and its Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is southwest of the Garrison.
This is another Airdrop with the Military Tech that you will need to use the VNC Tower’s roof to get there. This time around, you will need to jump towards the southwest from the corner of the roof of the VNC Tower. You will easily be able to glide all the way to the Airdrop THB-UTO with the Military Tech.
Airdrop THB-FH3
The Airdrop THB-FH3 with the Military Tech is located on the top building on the east of New Dawn Park.
You can reach the Airdrop THB-FH3 and its Military Tech through various ways, but the best is going from the south. First, go to the New Dawn Park and Downtown border and from there start climbing the third building on the south of the Military Tech. Now from there, start climbing and going towards the Airdrop THB-FH3. The climbing from there is effortless, and you will reach the Military Tech pretty quickly. Once you reach there, get the Military Tech from the Airdrop THB-FH3.
Airdrop THB-1N4
In Dying Light 2, the location of the Airdrop THB-1N4 and its Military Tech is on top of the Church of Saint Thomas The Apostle on the east side of Saint Paul Island.
To start climbing the church to get the Military Tech from the top. You will need to start from the lady statue on the left side of the main entrance. From the statue, jump to the balcony and now go climb the right side, then jump on the pillar on the left side. Climb the roof from the pillar, and the Airdrop THB-1N4 with the Military Tech will be in front of you.

Airdrop THB-V3P
The location of the Airdrop THB-V3P with the Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is at the northwest side of New Dam Ayre.
You can start climbing up the building from the big pillar in front of the building. Climb on top of the pillar and then walk its ledge to reach the ladders of the building. From there, jump sideways and start climbing up using the pipes and platforms there. It will not be easy but not difficult as well, and you will reach the top ledge quickly. Now from that ledge, jump to the rope hanging there and use it to get on the roof of the building. The Military Tech is in the Airdrop THB-V3; you can loot it from there.
Airdrop THB-4UL
Airdrop THB-4UL with the Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is on the Northern side of Lower Dam Ayre.
Once you are at the location of the Airdrop, you will need to climb up using the grappling hook. Although it says you require the grappling hook to get to the top, you can actually climb to the top without using it. To climb to the top, go to the backside of the building and from there find the ladders to climb. After climbing there, jump to the pillar on the back and from there climb to the roof’s balcony. Now, carefully climb the roof and get the Military Tech from the Airdrop THB-4UL.
Airdrop THB-7U3
The location of the Military Tech inside the Airdrop THB-7U3 in Dying Light 2 is located on the southern outskirts of Garrison.
To reach the location, you will first need to climb the top of the VNC Tower. After climbing the top of the VNC Tower. You will need to jump towards the south and glide straight to the building in front of the Airdrop. Now from that building, you need to glide all the way to the Military Tech in the Airdrop THB-7U3.
Sunken Airdrop 1
The location of the first Sunken Airdrop in Dying Light 2 is northwest of Sunken City. Just beside the divider of the bridge.
Once you reach the location on the bridge, jump inside the water and go straight to the Airdrop. Pick its lock, and you will be able to get the rewards.

Sunken Airdrop 2
The Sunken Airdrop 2 and its Military Tech location in Dying Light 2 are all the way north of Sunken City. On the north of Sunken City, you will see some buildings in a lane that are making an empty square on the right. The Sunken Airdrop is in the middle of the building on the northwest corner.
When you reach the location, go underwater until you see a tree. The Military Tech with the Sunken Airdrop is beside that tree on the ground. Just pick the loot and get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 3
This Sunken Airdrop is located on the north side of Sunken City. It’s on the building directly on the north of the empty square in the middle of the lane of the buildings.
At the location, dive underwater and go to the structure made there. Besides that, you will see the Sunken Airdrop and get Military Tech from it.
Sunken Airdrop 4
The fourth Sunken Airdrop with its Military Tech is located on the northeast side of Sunken City in Dying Light 2. The exact location is on the second top last building in the northeast.
You will find the Sunken Airdrop on the right side of the building, and once you are there, go underwater. There you will see a big church-like building, and the Airdrop with the Military Tech is in front of that building. Pick the lock of the Airdrop and then get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 5
The location of the Sunken Airdrop with the Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is on the northeast side of Sunken City. It is in the very last top building in the lane of buildings.
Once you are at the location of the building, go to the bottom right part of it and dive underwater. In there, you will see two cars stacked upon each other, and besides those tho cars, you will see the Sunken Airdrop. Pick its lock and get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 6
The sixth Sunken Airdrop is on the southeast side of Sunken City. The location for the Airdrop is near the outer edge of the bottom last building on the right in the lane of buildings there.
When you reach the location, dive underwater carefully from the edge of the building and not from the inside part of the building; as you dive deeper, you will see some corpses’ skeletons lying around beside a car. The Sunken AIrdrop is just in the middle of those skeletons. After finding the AIrdrop, pick its lock and get the Military Tech.

Sunken Airdrop 7
The location of the Sunken Airdrop and its Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is southeast of Sunken city. It is in the second last building from the bottom, just below the building in the middle.
Go to the bottom right part of the building at the location and dive in from there. Once you dive, you will see two tall trees and some cars on the side as well. The Sunken Airdrop is in front of those cars. Pick the lock and get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 8
The eight Airdrop with its Military Tech is located all the way to the south of Sunken City. It is past what seems to be a bridge beneath the lane of the buildings on the map.
When you are there, get underwater. You will see some trees, and just past those trees, you will get to see the parachute attached to the Airdrop. Pick the lock of the Sunken Airdrop, and after that, you will get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 9
The location of the Sunken Airdrop with the Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is in the middle of the Sunken City. Just ahead of the last Airdrop. In the bottom edge of the bottom last building on the left in the lane of buildings.
Go to the location, and once you are at the location, dive in. Inside the water, you will see some trees, and in front of one of those trees, you will see the Sunken Airdrop just ahead of some structure. Get to the Airdrop and pick its lock to get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 10
The tenth Sunken Airdrop and its Military Tech location are in the middle of Sunken city. It is in the bottom right corner of the building, second last from the bottom right in the building lane.
When you are in the bottom right corner of the building, dive inside the water. Here, you will see some trees and a broken structure with clothes hanging in it. Dive deeper all the way to the surface, and the Sunken Airdrop is in front of that structure, just ahead of a tree. Get the Military Tech by picking its lock.

Sunken Airdrop 11
The location of the Sunken Airdrop with the Military Tech in Dying Light 2 is in the middle of Sunken city. The exact location is on the bottom right corner of the building, in the middle of the lane of the building, just on the right of the empty square.
At the location, simply dive all the way underwater. Finding the Airdrop won’t be difficult. Keep going deeper until you see two cars with their hood broken and their engine showing. The Sunken Airdrop and its Military Tech are between those two cars. All you need to do is pick the lock and get the Military Tech.
Sunken Airdrop 12
The last Sunken Airdrop is located a bit west of the middle of Sunken city. It is in the middle of the building that is in the last from the left of the building lane.
At the location, dive underwater and keep going down. The visibility will be low there, but keep going until you see a tree, and just ahead of it, you get to lay your eyes on the last Sunken Airdrop. Lastly, pick the lock of the Airdrop and get the Military Tech.
Final Verdict
These were all the locations for all the Military Airdrops / Tech for both Underwater and the Skyscrapers in Dying Light 2.
