It has garnered a bundle of positive reviews from major outlets around the globe, and its sales have also proven its popularity among other recent releases.

The developer and publisher Mintrocket have thanked the community on Steam for the incredible support as gamers dive into the vast ocean of content to find the best ingredients for high-quality sushi.

As our game passes its tenth day since the official release, we are thrilled to have already reached one million users in such a short time. We are immensely grateful to each and every one of you. While acknowledging areas for improvement, we have diligently addressed them with invaluable feedback from our engaged community,” reads the Steam page.

Moreover, the devs are looking to further polish the heart-tugging and calming venture. “We remain committed to carefully listening to your opinions and continuously adding enjoyable and exciting content.” The milestones reached by Dave the Diver reach even further beyond any expectations, as the game boasts over 92,557 concurrent Steam players currently on SteamDB, hitting its all-time high peak at 98,480 users.

Dave the Diver has certainly sold like lemonade on sale to surpass the likes of many popular entries on Steam, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Apex Legends, Elden Ring, and more. It is currently the fourth-top seller on the storefront at the time of writing; the indie hit recently surpassed the previous top-three seller, Baldur’s Gate 3, to steal its spot.
