Lies Of P Rumored to Arrive On Xbox Game Pass, Hints Insider

The credible industry insider hinted at the prospect through morse code.

No one would have imagined while reading through the story of Pinocchio at a young age that the lovable character would be transported to a grim dark world in a video game. Lies of P is an action souls-like game based on Pinocchio in a “dark Belle Époque” world that is mixed with Bloodborne and Sekiro vibes. The alluring souls-like experience is inspired (very freely) by Collodi’s work.

The game has been in development for some time, and we may hear about a definite release date at the upcoming Gamescom event. Lies of P turns Pinocchio into a grim puppet mechanoid protagonist in a twisted murder-y world where he has to stab robots, craft weapons, and survive to find answers.

Pinocchio in Lies of P has the widely beloved Sekiro-esque mechanical arms, also incorporating a grappling hook and a flamethrower. The character opens his eyes at a desolate train station in Krat, a city subjugated by frenzy and bloodlust. All of humanity is long lost, and the darkened world is filled with unexplainable horror.

The title features multiple endings that will be affected based on how Pinocchio lies. The gamers have wondered about the particulars of the game, like its arrival on Game Pass. A credible industry insider, The Snitch has revealed cryptic info regarding Lies of P.  The recently posted cryptical video contained morse code, which left fans scratching their heads.

The video, after being translated, allegedly revealed a quote from the game. The dialogue says, “The wise says, you will find your way.” Other side of spectrum has concluded that the dialogue is a reference to Kanye West’s song called Pinocchio Story. Lies of P is the only game that comes to mind that has not been confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass officially.

Other industry insiders, such as Idle Sloth and the community at ResetEra thread, have concluded that the video hints toward Lies of P’s arrival on the Xbox Game Pass upon release on day 1. It is likely that the best hint is the green background, which is a direct connection to Xbox. Lies of P will be released on many platforms (PC, Stadia, Xbox Series X | S, and PlayStation 5); Game Pass is the only way to link it with Xbox.

The Bloodborne-inspired game would benefit from the Game Pass. Moreover, the title is slated to appear at Gamescom next week, meaning it will feature some Lies of P news like the release date. The Snitch is known for posting mysterious clips; the rumor also appears to be concrete because he has never been wrong.
