Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has officially gone gold, nearly a week after releasing its most recent gameplay trailer. The announcement came with a video from the voice actors of major characters Nadji Jeter (Miles Morales), Yuri Lowenthal (Peter Parker), Laura Bailey (Mary Jane Watson), and Tony Todd (Venom). This has dispelled any slight bit of worry that players had regarding a delay, which was unlikely to begin with.

For the uninitiated, when a game goes gold, it means that it has completed its final stage of development and is all set for its release. In other words, the gold status ensures that the game will face no further delays. Although it is improbable for games like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the reassurance does calm one’s mind.

Besides that, we now know that the title will feature over 65 customizable suits that have been perfected by guest artists and PlayStation Studios’ developers. Spider-Man 2 will also have multiple FPS modes with ray tracing and VRR support. In addition to that, no graphics mode in the game will have ray tracing functionality turned off. The studio wants players to enjoy the game in the best way possible.
