Industry Insider Hints At Possible New Dragon Age Details Coming Today

Players may finally be getting an official announcement 8 years after the last game.

Electronic Arts is one of the biggest video game companies in the gaming world. Almost every player has played at least one of its widely popular titles, like Battlefield or FIFA. However, it also has other popular franchises much different from these titles.

One of these games is the Dragon Age series from Electronic Arts. It’s a fantasy roleplaying game that takes place in a fictional continent and deals with a powerful dragon, as the name suggests. The series is really successful, both critically and commercially, but it has been a while since a new installment has come out.

However, that might be changing very soon. An announcement from BioWare or Electronic Arts regarding a new Dragon Age game may be coming today, according to Tom Henderson, an accredited industry insider. Official news about a new installment into the franchise may come at 19:00 CET today, according to him.

Before players get all too excited, it isn’t going to be a huge reveal or something. Players may only get an announcement from the company and nothing more, according to Tom Henderson. Nothing huge is planned and only an official confirmation is nearing.

The industry insider also hinted that Electronic Arts might possibly be making the official announcement and while that may not be a lot, with the lack of news about Dragon Age, most players won’t really care about this. Dragon Age: Inquisition was the most recent game in the franchise, which came out almost 8 years ago.

Hence, it’s nearly been a decade since another release in the franchise. Players have been starved of news, so seeing any kind of news from the series is remarkable to see. Players are already speculating about what this news could be. Some think it could be a new collection, while others are hoping that it’s a new game.
