The survival title came out to early access a day ago.

Story Highlights

  • The latest Palworld hotfix has seemingly removed the black screen issue plaguing some players.
  • Pocket Pair said the bug was happening due to the players’ network but is expected not to occur again.
  • The title came out to early access on January 19, 2024, for Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.

Palworld early access has been relatively smooth compared to many other entries that fall under the same genre. However, it is still full of minor issues that hinder players from a smooth playthrough. The studio Pocket Pair is hard at work to remove all the bugs from the game. As recently announced on the studio’s Twitter handle, the black screen problem happening to some users has been completely eradicated in the game’s latest hotfix.

The black screen issue occurred due to some player’s network environment. However, no further details were given for it. Pocket Pair says to install the hotfix and then wait for at least 10 seconds before starting the game. Palworld is also inflicted with more grim technical issues that take away from all the fun to be had. It is rampant with server stability issues, but the devs have also addressed that situation and said that a fix is coming soon.

Palworld came out to early access on January 19, 2024, for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. It has quickly accumulated over 400K active concurrent players on Steam in only a few hours after launch. The latest bug fix will allow even more users to enjoy the fun action survival and tame plenty of cute Pals in the process. However, it is best to exercise caution since they do not always listen to commands and may sleep on the clock.
