Sonic Frontiers New Gameplay Footage Has Been Leaked

Recently leaked gameplay footage showcases Sonic running around Starfall Islands.

SEGA has been hyping Sonic Frontiers since its reveal back in December 2021. As the release date for the game nears, more and more details about it have started to unveil. Recently, new full HD gameplay footage has surfaced online and is making rounds across the internet. Sonic has been an AAA-rated franchise from SEGA for many years and they have cashed out big on the franchise.

On the other hand, fans have loved the franchise since the beginning of its time and have been demanding more of Sonic. The open-world iteration of Sonic in Sonic Frontiers is one of the greatly anticipated games of 2022. Expected to release by the end of 2022, it has gamers on the edge of their seats as to what the game entails.

SEGA has been very secretive regarding the game. However, newly leaked gameplay footage from the game does give us some insights as to what it could be like (thanks, @Mr_Rebs_). The leaked gameplay looks solid and crisp, and as for the graphics and textures, they look stargazing.

There’s not much on the story that we can find except for what SEGA has shared. The game is set on the Starfall Islands, where Sonic faces giant enemies. There were also some rumours regarding the game that the official release would delay further as #DelaySonicFrontiers was recently trending on Twitter.

This happened a few days back after the fans had a glimpse of the gameplay footage and were disappointed with the gameplay. In response to that, the Team Head behind Sonic Frontiers quickly dismissed this rumour and assured the fans that the release would go ahead as planned and insisted that the fans should keep their hopes high till the game’s release.

We are quite excited about what SEGA has planned for the blue guy in this game and how the story will carry on. As of now, there’s no confirmation of the game’s release date except for an idea of Q4 2022. The game is planned to release on Windows, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
