Star Wars: Jedi Survivor Finally Has a Release Date

The sequel to Fallen Order will release on March 17th 2023.

At the 2022 Game Awards, fans were treated to the first full trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to 2019’s Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. The sequel is titled Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. The trailer offered a glimpse at the story and characters of the upcoming game. 

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor picks up where Jedi Fallen Order left off, with players once again taking on the role of a young Jedi struggling to survive in a galaxy torn apart by war. The game is set several years after the events of the first game, and the trailer showed the protagonist, Cal Kestis, facing off against new and familiar enemies.

A teaser trailer was posted back in May of this year below.

The second trailer below was revealed tonight at the Game Awards by developer Respawn Entertainment. Respawn developed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and is developing at least 3 new Star Wars games

The new trailer reveals gameplay and shows that the game may have a much larger scope than its predecessor, with players able to explore a variety of new locations and planets. The game will also feature new gameplay mechanics.

In addition to the gameplay footage, the trailer also revealed that Star Wars: Jedi Survivor will launch soon on March 17th, 2023. This release date will surely be met with excitement from fans as the release date is not too far ahead.
